The new subsidy policy for new energy vehicles was officially announced, and the four ministries and commissions of the state jointly issued the Notice on Further Improving the Financial Subsidy Policy for the Promotion and Application of New Energy Vehicles, confirming that the subsidy slope has been firmly established. For our consumers, the most intuitive thing is that new energy vehicles will collectively increase prices, especially consumers in limited cities, have to accept the fact that they pay more.

The new subsidy policy for new energy vehicles specifically has the following changes: 1. The endurance requirements for electric vehicle subsidies are increased. Only electric vehicles with a battery life of more than 250 kilometers can receive subsidies. All subsidies for models below 250 kilometers will be cancelled. Subsidies are also divided into different grades. Subsidies for 250-400 kilometers are 18,000 yuan, and subsidies for more than 400 kilometers are 25,000 yuan. 2. Plug-in hybrid passenger vehicles (including extended range) operating mode driving mileage shall not be less than 50km, otherwise there is no subsidy;

3. Cancel the ground supplement, cancel all local vehicle purchase subsidies after the subsidy transition period, and transfer to subsidize the construction and operation of charging infrastructure;4. Improve technical requirements, the mass energy density of pure electric passenger vehicle power battery system shall not be less than 125Wh/kg, 125-140 shall be subsidized by 0.8 times, 140-160 shall be subsidized by 0.9 times, and more than 160 shall be subsidized by 1 time. 5. A transition period for subsidies will be set from March 26,2019 to June 25,2019. Subsidies further decline, will greatly affect the terminal price of new energy vehicles, sales will also have a relatively large fluctuation, for some enterprises relying on subsidies to survive, the form is also more severe. How big is the subsidy slope? Take an electric vehicle with a working range of 400 kilometers as an example. According to the 2018 policy, it can get a subsidy of 75,000 yuan, including 50,000 yuan of state subsidy and 25,000 yuan of ground subsidy. According to the latest 2019 policy, this electric vehicle can only get a subsidy of 25,000 yuan.
