According to the test model released by the China Insurance Research Institute, the official guiding price of the model is 387800. The Audi Q5L, one of the brand's best-selling models, ranked first in sales of high-end SUV models for several months in 2019, so it can also be called a "magic car".

In fact, we can consider the result of the collision of Audi Q5L. Because as early as in the second batch of C-NCAP collision tests in 2019, Audi Q5L won the championship with the best results, with a comprehensive score of 93.4%, active safety of 100%, and occupant protection score of 95.52%, all of which were the best results in this C-NCAP test except for pedestrian protection. Although the test model used is the 2018 Audi Q5L 40 TFSI fashion model, but the safety configuration is also consistent with the model provided by China Insurance Research.

However, as the China New car Evaluation rules (C-NCAP) has always been called the "five-Star Wholesale Department", even though the rules were updated to the "strictest test standard in history" last year, more than 70% of the test models still received five-star ratings, causing many people to question their evaluation.

In contrast, China Insurance Research C-IASI has always been famous for its stringent crash testing standards, because the formulation of its evaluation standards mainly draws lessons from the experience of the American Highway Safety Insurance Association (IIHS), and the American IIHS can be said to be the most stringent car crash test at present. Therefore, many models that have won a five-star rating in C-NCAP have differences in performance under the PICC Research C-IASI, such as Mai Teng, which is also from FAW-Volkswagen.

Although there is still no evaluation result of an Audi model in China Insurance Research, the performance of A6L is still excellent from some test screenshots released by China Insurance Research Institute. Among them, during the frontal 25% offset collision, there was no obvious deformation from the A column to the B column, and the hub did not invade the driving cabin. except for the collision area, the frame structure of the entire body cockpit remained basically intact. At the same time, the side air curtain in the car was opened normally, but because there was only a screenshot, the specific situation in the car could not be understood.

It is worth mentioning that Mercedes-Benz GLC, a competitor of Audi Q5L, is also in the competitive car market of China Insurance Research Institute, but from the evaluation of the car market that has been completed so far, the basic performance is also good, such as the front 25% offset collision, also maintain a good vehicle structure, and there is no more serious collapse and deformation. As for the performance of Audi Q5L will also wait for the "test".

In fact, Audi Q5L as a voluntary participation in the research model, as well as a luxury brand, I believe manufacturers on this "examination" is to do a good job of sufficient confidence, otherwise it must be a reputation and sales discounts.
