AutoBeta(AutoBeta.net)03/27 Report--

Ford Motor (China) Co., Ltd. recently filed the recall plan with the State Administration of Market Supervision and Administration in accordance with the requirements of the regulations on the Administration of defective Automobile products recall and the measures for the implementation of defective Automobile products recall regulations. The details are as follows:

1. Recall time and model:

Starting from March 25, 2019, some of the 2011 models made from August 9, 2010 to October 27, 2010 will be recalled, with a total of 610 vehicles.

two。 The causes and solutions of the recall:

Due to the reasons of the automobile supplier, the motor brush inside the engine electronic throttle may accumulate pollutants generated during the production process, which will lead to an increase in resistance, which will cause the fault indicator to light up, and the vehicle will enter fault mode and limit engine speed. In extreme cases, the engine may stall, resulting in safety risks. Ford Motor (China) Co., Ltd. will replace the improved electronic throttle for vehicles within the recall range free of charge to eliminate safety risks.
