Recently, riding on this "price reduction wind", a new round of price reduction trend has hit, including two joint venture brands of Volkswagen, SAIC-Skoda, independent brand Roewe, and imported luxury car Lexus.

Among them, FAW-Volkswagen took the lead in announcing a reduction in the official guidance price of all the models on sale. In terms of specific models, as can be seen from the published price reduction table, the price reduction of the obsidian version of CC 380TSI is the highest, reaching 8000 yuan, while the price reduction of 7800 yuan for Maiteng 380TSI's flagship model is not far behind. It is worth mentioning that the two SUV models, Tanyue and Tange, which were just launched before, also reached a decline of 5900 yuan and 6000 yuan respectively.

SAIC-Volkswagen also announced a few days ago that it will downgrade its models on sale. In terms of its specific models, as can be seen from the official price reduction table, the luxury flagship version of Huieng 480V6 has the highest decline of 20000 yuan. In terms of SUV products, Tuen 530V6 respected flagship version had the highest decline, reaching 13000 yuan; for medium-sized SUV, Tuguan L had the highest decline, reaching 9000 yuan; and for new energy models, Tuguan L plug-in hybrid version had the highest decline of 7000 yuan.

Today, SAIC-Skoda also announced a reduction in the price of all brands. According to the price reduction table, the bright Rui station wagon TSI230 double gift box hand-integrated comfortable version model dropped by 15000, followed by Speed TSI manual standard version and Ming Rui 1.5L manual standard version, both by 10,000 yuan. The rest of the brands are no more than 10,000.

In terms of SAIC-Roewe, among the models announced this time, the Roewe RX8 has the largest drop of 5000 yuan, while the Roewe RX5, Roewe RX3 and Roewe i6 all dropped by 3000 yuan.

As for Lexus, according to Lexus Chinese officials, it will also reduce the recommended retail price of models sold in China from now on, with the LC 500h special edition falling the most, by 33000 yuan, and the executive version by 24000 yuan. The rest of the models decreased by 9000 yuan to 10000 yuan.

Among the car companies that announced price cuts this time, the two Volkswagen reduced by as much as 20000 yuan and 8000 yuan respectively, but it is not difficult to see from the official reduction table that both models are high-end models and flagship models with higher prices. the move may be related to poor sales of these models in the first two months and increased inventory pressure. For SAIC-Skoda, sales have been in decline for four months in a row, and the official cut may be good for its sales in China, with a maximum drop of 15000 and a more balanced price reduction. Sales of the independent brand Roewe reached 700000 last year, up 35% from the same period last year, and this year, Roewe has set a target of 1 million. The official cut is a strong measure to boost sales.

In the past two years, Lexus sales have been growing by leaps and bounds, and it is also loved by the Chinese market. The phenomenon of terminal price increase and car lift is widespread.
