According to the final report, Mazda 3 Oncella scored better and received an excellent G rating in the core occupant safety index. The model tested by China Insurance Research C-IASI is 1.5L manual quality American version (minimum), which is equipped with driver front airbag, front passenger front airbag, front side airbag, front / rear side air curtain and driver seat knee airbag.
The results show that Mazda 3 Onksera gets a poor rating (P) in the "crashworthiness and maintenance economy Index", which represents the economy of maintenance costs in low-speed crashes, excellent (G) in the safety index of in-car members, and excellent (G) in the pedestrian safety index and vehicle auxiliary safety index.

Changan Mazda data show that in 2019, the cumulative sales of Mazda 3 Oncera was 98218 vehicles, accounting for 72% of the company's total sales. In the first two months of this year, Mazda sold 11657 onceses.
In horizontal comparison, among the mainstream compact family cars of the joint venture brand, the collision safety scores of Mazda 3 Oncella and Toyota Leiling / Carola are relatively high, while Chevrolet Cruze, Honda Civic, Hyundai Leader and Festa have lost points to varying degrees.

The performance of Beijing Hyundai lead in the frontal 25% offset collision is relatively normal, but the side head protection airbag is not installed, resulting in a serious loss of points in the side collision, resulting in multiple injuries to the occupant's head, neck, torso and so on.
The collision score of Dongfeng Honda Civic is already very "famous". Its front 25% offset collision gets A rating, while side collision gets the worst P rating, mainly because there is no side head protection airbag, the occupant's head and neck are not protected, and the B-pillar is broken, and there is a problem with the structure of the vehicle. The evaluation made by C-IASI is as follows: "the distance between the B-pillar and the driver's seat center line is 8cm, and the lower part of the B-pillar is completely broken."
Beijing Hyundai Festa's front 25% offset collision and side collision are M-rated, and there are obvious problems with the car body structure, the most obvious is the serious intrusion of the firewall in the bias collision, and the A-pillar has been bent.
