The official Weibo of the DS brand is "DS Spirit". On its official blog, many car owners complain that spare parts are out of stock and the car has been waiting for repair.

One of the netizens continued to complain on the official blog, but it has not yet been resolved. He said that on December 12, 2019, the car was sent to the official after-sales point of DS for repair. the store is Dongfeng Peugeot 4S store, the original DS 4S store has been withdrawn, but so far several key parts for car maintenance have not yet arrived, and the maintenance point is powerless and waiting for the manufacturer.

He is very disappointed with the after-sales service guarantee of DS and still hopes that the manufacturer will resume the supply of spare parts. From the DS brand website inquiry dealers, found that a considerable number of no longer provide sales, only retain after-sales service. Since the second half of 2019, there has been frequent news that Changan Automobile and PSA Group, the shareholders of Changan PSA, have sold all the shares of the joint venture company.

Changan Automobile has signed an "equity transfer agreement" with Shenzhen Qianhai Ruizhi Investment Co., Ltd., transferring all its 50% stake in Changan PSA to Qianhai Ruizhi, with a transfer amount of 1.63 billion yuan, according to a notice issued by Changan Automobile on December 31, 2019.

PSA Group has also disclosed to foreign media that it will sell 50 per cent of the shares held by Changan PSA. It means that Changan PSA will change ownership after the withdrawal of both shareholders, and the original joint venture company will be dissolved.

The dissolution of the joint venture is related to poor brand operation, declining sales and long-term losses. According to the financial report released by Changan Automobile, Changan PSA lost 1.63 billion yuan in 2016, 1.1 billion yuan in 2017, 874 million yuan in 2018 and 2.233 billion yuan from January to September 2019. In the past four years, Changan PSA has lost more than 5.8 billion yuan.

In addition, the data show that Shenzhen Qianhai Ruizhi Investment Co., Ltd. is 100% controlled by Baoneng Automobile Co., Ltd., and the actual controller is Yao Zhenhua. It means that Baoneng will take over Changan PSA.

Wang Chao, director of corporate communications for China and Southeast Asia of PSA Group, revealed that after the change in the share structure of Changan PSA, the DS brand plans to continue to produce DS cars in its Shenzhen factory. And according to official sources, DS 9 will be the first to be made in China, which will be introduced to the Chinese market this year and will still be produced at the Shenzhen factory.

A spokesman for PSA has said that it will still seek to promote DS-branded cars in the Chinese market and will not withdraw from China. Some industry insiders pointed out that DS can only continue to be a minority high-end brand in China, and the price will be reduced a little bit, so that there is a way out.

Data have pointed out that DS now has 75000 car owners in China. For them, the issue of after-sales security is more important, and it is also the key to restoring user information and market information. If DS officials lose this piece, the hope of staying will only get lower and lower.
