In fact, as early as last October, when Cadillac launched its CT5 model, it was mentioned that the CT4 model is expected to go on sale this year, but the launch date was not specified.

The Cadillac CT4 is positioned slightly lower than the CT5, as can be seen from the name of the model. Although Cadillac first launched the midsize sedan CT5 and priced the model at the same price as the newly discontinued Cadillac ATS-L, it also means that the CT5 directly replaces the ATS-L in the product formation. But from the overall appearance design of the CT4 model, it basically continues the design of ATS-L. According to the latest official release of SAIC GM Cadillac CT4, the vehicle style continues the overseas design, using the latest family design, the shield-shaped front grille matches the brand LOGO and the large trapezoidal air intake below, and adds the headlights designed by "tear eyes".

According to the side styling, it is basically the design of ATS, which retains the body shape of the whole car proportion and C-pillar of ATS, while the rear has been newly adjusted to be consistent with CT5 as a whole. As the new car has not yet been announced, the length, width and height of the overseas CT4 body dimensions are 4760/1815/1421mm, wheelbase 2775, consistent with ATS-L as a whole, slightly shorter than CT5, it can be seen that it is the successor model of ATS-L.

In terms of interior decoration, Cadillac officially said that it will be unveiled on March 25, which is consistent with the overseas version and its CT5 model, so you can refer to the domestic CT5 model, perhaps with a reduction in configuration, such as the reduction of the central control screen.

According to the data previously exposed, CT4 may still be equipped with the same 2.0T four-cylinder turbocharged engine as CT5, only slightly reduced in power, and the gearbox will also be 8AT gearbox, in order to compete with CT5.

With the increasingly fierce luxury brand market, Cadillac has been overtaken by Lexus many times in the past year. Without the challenge of product plastic layout, even the first place of the second-tier luxury brand will be lost.
