Reasons for recall:

Due to supplier reasons, ASDM (active Safety Master Module) software may not be fully compatible with ASDM hardware introduced in the fourth week of 2019 for some vehicles covered by this recall. The microprocessor of ASDM may not be able to read the correct temperature state from memory, resulting in a low trust value of the ASDM camera, and reliable data obtained from the camera may be suppressed by ASDM, resulting in limited AEB (automatic emergency braking system) and / or collision warning messages and braking aids. When the temperature of the circuit board inside the ASDM module is between 10 degrees Celsius and 40 degrees Celsius, if pedestrians, bicycles or stationary vehicles are encountered in front, the automatic emergency braking function may be limited; only when the vehicle is driving at low speed and if the vehicle meets a stationary vehicle in front, the collision warning information, braking auxiliary function and automatic emergency braking function may be limited, but the conventional braking function of the vehicle will not be affected. In the above cases, if the driver does not take conventional braking measures, it may increase the risk of vehicle collision and there are hidden dangers.

Solution:

Volvo Automobile sales (Shanghai) Co., Ltd., Daqing Volvo Automobile Manufacturing Co., Ltd. And Zhejiang Haoqing Automobile Manufacturing Co., Ltd. will upgrade the ASDM software for vehicles within the scope of the recall free of charge to eliminate safety risks. The vehicles in stock will be sold after the defects have been eliminated.

Chrysler: control arm bracket welding dislocation

Chrysler (China) Automobile sales Co., Ltd. filed the recall plan with the State Administration of Market Supervision and Administration in accordance with the regulations on the recall of defective Automobile products and the measures for the implementation of the regulations on the recall of defective Automobile products.

Recall models:

It is decided that from now on, a total of 71 imported 2.0T Sahara cars made by horsemen in 2020 will be recalled from July 29, 2019 to October 2, 2019.

Reasons for recall:

Due to the negligent design of the vehicles within the scope of this recall, the fixing nuts of the high brake lights did not take additional anti-loosening measures. After the vehicle has been used for a long time, the nut may be loosened due to the stress change of thermal expansion and cold shrinkage of the fixed bracket and the vibration of the vehicle during driving, and the high brake lights may fall off while the vehicle is running, increasing the risk of vehicle accidents and safety risks.

Solution:

BMW (China) Automobile Trading Co., Ltd. will replace new nuts and apply nut binder free of charge for vehicles within the recall range, and re-fix high brake lights to eliminate safety risks.

Taken together, the recalled brands include Volvo, Jaguar Land Rover, Chrysler, Volkswagen, Audi, Bentley, BMW and Mercedes-Benz, with a total of 252787 vehicles recalled. Among them, Volvo is the brand with the largest number of recalls. Previously, Volvo recalled 736000 vehicles worldwide because of braking system failure. This recall should have a lot to do with the previously reported. Mercedes-Benz is the second recall of the batch of vehicles, after Mercedes-Benz replaced qualified steering rack thrust parts free of charge, but Mercedes-Benz found defects in the recall and repair work. Mercedes-Benz has caused a lot of errors because of these "BUG" and previously recalled because of mislabeling. In addition, Jaguar Land Rover was recalled because of Takata airbag problems, which still affect major car brands.
