The sixth generation BMW 3-Series (codenamed F30) was launched in Munich, Germany in October 2011, and the following year's Beijing Auto Show was officially unveiled in China. At the same time, the 3-Series long wheelbase version (codenamed F35) was also released, which was officially listed in China in July of that year. Brilliance BMW's new 3-Series standard wheelbase version F30 was also released domestically in January 2013. The biggest highlight of the sixth generation 3 series is the design of the eye-opening corner of the headlights, which has become the design language of the BMW family.

Until the 2017 model, the BMW 3-Series powertrain was completely replaced with a brand new B-Series engine. The 2019 BMW 3-Series went on sale in September last year and is the last change of the sixth-generation BMW 3-Series.

The suspension of production of the F30/F35 means that a new generation of BMW 3-Series is coming. Brilliance BMW's new 3-series long wheelbase version, codenamed G28, will be officially put into production at brilliance BMW Tiexi factory in May this year, while the standard wheelbase version is expected to continue to be made in China.

The dimensions of the new generation 3 series long wheelbase version are fully lengthened, the length, width and height are 4829/1827/1463mm, the wheelbase is 2961mm, and the wheelbase is greatly increased by 110mm. Other power information has not been released yet.
