It is understood that the internal code of "Audi A3L" is FAW-Volkswagen AU381/0 CN_KL project, which is put into production by FAW-Volkswagen Qingdao Branch. It is also the second Audi brand model produced by the company. The first Audi brand model is the brand-new Audi A3 (AU380/1 CN_K).

From the side of the A3L new car, it is obviously lengthened at the rear door and triangular window, and it looks more slender with the double waist line of the body. In addition, the ground clearance of the chassis seems to have increased.

At the rear of the car, the new car adopts the design of "duckling tail" and the tail logo is "A3L", which may be the unique name of the domestic long-wheelbase version.

The new A3 is more aggressive than the older models, with sharp headlights and a large size grid design on both sides of the front surround. The new car also features daytime running lights with matrix LED headlights.
