AutoBeta(AutoBeta.net)04/03 Report--
According to a tender notice for Dongfeng Nissan, Dongfeng Nissan will introduce a 1.3T engine. Judging from the contents of the announcement, Hubei Dongfeng Nissan Automobile Co., Ltd. and Dongfeng Nissan passenger car Company have completed the tender for the cast cylinder block of "HR13DDT", a 1.3T four-cylinder engine jointly developed by Renault-Nissan-Mitsubishi Alliance and Daimler Group, with a maximum horsepower of 153Ps (113kW) and a peak torque of 270N ·m.
It is worth mentioning that the 1.3T engine is not a brand new engine, which was released as early as 2017, with in-cylinder direct injection, turbocharging and dual variable valve timing technology. At present, the engine is carried in Mercedes-Benz domestic A-class, GLB and Renault Corey and other models. However, due to different brands, the power of the engine after adjustment is also different. Among them, the maximum power of Mercedes-Benz A class is 100kw, the peak torque is 200N ·m, the maximum power of Mercedes-Benz GLB is 120kw, the peak torque is 250N ·m, and the maximum power of Reynolds is 117kw, and the peak torque is 270N ·m.
Nissan is one of the three Japanese giants, but the power of vehicles is not as aggressive as Toyota and Honda. It is understood that Nissan has put into production 1.6L, 2.0L and 2.5L engines with different displacement in China, but most of them are naturally aspirated engines, which leads to its no obvious advantage in the same class. Judging from the models that Dongfeng Nissan has put into production in China, the low-end models are mainly equipped with 1.6L and 2.0L engines. In the environment of energy saving, emission reduction and low-emission engines, the introduction of 1.3t engines can not only further reduce consumption tax, emissions and fuel consumption data, but also improve power.
According to foreign media forecasts, the new generation of Nissan Xiaoke will use this 1.3T engine in the future. In 2019, Dongfeng Nissan has made a medium-term change in China, and a new generation of models are expected to be released in 2020 or 2021, which is expected to become the first Dongfeng Nissan model with 1.3T engine in China.
Nissan's main competitors are Volkswagen Tango, Honda XR-V and colorful Intelligence, all of which have launched 1.3T small turbochargers, which will greatly increase their competitiveness if they are equipped with 1.3T engines. Sales figures show that Dongfeng Nissan sold 1.17 million vehicles in China in 2019, up 0.1 per cent from a year earlier. Among them, Xuanyi, Qijun and other models are the main force of Dongfeng's daily production and sales, while Xiaoke's sales are not bad, reaching 179773 in 2019.
