FAW-Volkswagen announced a personnel transfer. Since April 3, Wang Shengli has been appointed Deputy General Manager and Executive Director of Volkswagen Brand of FAW-Volkswagen sales Co., Ltd., responsible for the marketing of FAW-Volkswagen brand. It means that FAW-Volkswagen marketing has entered the era of Wang Shengli.

The former executive deputy general manager of FAW-Volkswagen sales Co., Ltd. is Sun Huibin. In November 2019, Sun Huibin has replaced Jing Youth as executive deputy general manager of FAW-Volkswagen Audi sales Department, fully responsible for Audi brand marketing.

According to the information, Wang Shengli joined FAW-Volkswagen Automobile Co., Ltd. in August 2002. From then on to February 2013, Wang Shengli served as site engineer, regional supervisor and workshop director of FAW-Volkswagen final assembly workshop. From March 2013 to 2020, Wang Shengli served as Minister of Service Operations, General Manager of Northeast sales Division, General Manager of South China sales Division and Deputy General Manager of sales Company in FAW-Volkswagen sales Co., Ltd.

At present, FAW-Volkswagen owns Volkswagen brand, Audi brand and Jetta brand. In 2019, FAW-Volkswagen realized terminal sales of 2.13 million vehicles (including imported cars), an increase of 3.8 per cent over the same period last year.

Among them, FAW-Volkswagen's Volkswagen brand sold a total of 1.398 million vehicles last year, and completed the market layout of three types of SUV: sounding, song and mountain exploration. The Audi brand sold 680000 vehicles last year, while Jetta is a new low-end car brand launched last year to fill the gap in the low-end car market, with total sales of 43000 vehicles last year.

After entering 2020, the major automobile companies affected by the epidemic will face the challenge of annual target completion rate. According to the company's plan, it aims to sell 2.32 million vehicles this year.

According to the company's new car plan, the Volkswagen brand will launch the Tanyue Coupe, the Tanyue GTE, the new golf, the medium-term revamped Volkswagen CC, the Volkswagen CC Shooting Brake and a medium-and large-sized SUV. Among them, the internal code name of FAW-Volkswagen medium and large SUV is VW416, which is the mass production version of the SMV concept car unveiled at the 2019 Shanghai Auto Show. The new car will compete with SAIC-Volkswagen Tuang in the medium-and large-scale SUV market.

In terms of Audi brand, the new Audi A4L, new Audi Q7, Audi Q3 Sportback and so on are planned, while the Jetta brand currently plans to launch VS7.

From the perspective of product planning, the three major brands of FAW-Volkswagen will usher in a number of product launches this year, among which the Volkswagen brand will form a more comprehensive layout in SUV. FAW-Volkswagen may change in marketing this year after the new leader takes office.
