Compared with 2019 models, the starting price of Audi A4L in 2020 has increased by nearly 20, 000 yuan, with all models in the series above 300000 yuan.

The price of the new Audi A4L is close to the Mercedes-Benz C-Class, opening the gap with the BMW 3-Series. At present, the price range of Mercedes-Benz C-Class is 30.78-474800 yuan, and that of BMW 3-Series is 29.39-409900 yuan.

In addition to the rise in prices, there are also many changes in the new Audi A4L. In terms of appearance, the new Audi A4L basically continues the design style of the new overseas Audi A4, with a hexagonal integrated intake grille and more flattened, depressing the visual effect of the whole car. The new car comes in two appearance versions: elegant and dynamic, and the two front face designs meet different consumer choices. The new car is also equipped with LED digital daytime driving lights and segmented taillights, as well as matrix LED headlights on top models.

From the side, the length, width and height of the new Audi A4L are 4851mm (elegant) / 4858mm (dynamic), 1847 mm, 1439mm (comfortable suspension) / 1411mm (sports suspension), and the wheelbase is 2908mm. Compared with the old model, the length is increased by 14 mm / 21 mm, and the width is increased by 4 mm.

The biggest change in interior decoration is the replacement of the "domestic" 10.1-inch central control screen. The central control screen is equipped with a new generation of MMI car system and infotainment system developed by Audi China team, and cancels the original traditional central control screen knob / button.

In terms of power, the third-generation EA888 series 2.0T engine with three low / medium / high adjustments is introduced, which matches the 12V micro-mixing system. The lowest 35 TFSI model has a 2.0T engine with the lowest power and a maximum power of 150hp, while the other two versions have a 2.0T engine with a maximum power of 190hp (40TFSI) and 252hp (45TFSI). At the same time, the new car is equipped with a standard 7-speed double-clutch gearbox, and some high-end models are also equipped with quattro timely four-wheel drive system.

Audi model terminal concessions are often relatively large, the average transaction price in the BBA level is also the lowest. The price increase sales, some netizens speculated that it may be for the terminal greater preferential efforts to attract consumption preparation.

According to the data, FAW-Volkswagen achieved terminal sales of 2.13 million vehicles (including imported cars) in 2019, up 3.8 per cent from the same period last year, of which Audi brand sales were 688900, up 4.2 per cent from the same period last year. In terms of specific models, Audi A6L sold 131185 vehicles, down 12.5% from the same period last year, while Audi A4L sold 168189 vehicles for the whole year, up 3.0% from a year earlier.
