AutoBeta(AutoBeta.net)04/14 Report--

According to media reports, Aichi has deducted 10% of its employees' wages without notice and canceled all employees' year-end bonuses in 2019.

The employee inside Aichi said, "in February, about 1000 yuan in wages were deducted, and the year-end bonus has not yet been paid, because of the epidemic, the benefit of the factory is not good." Another employee said, "those who paid their wages on February 10 did not know about the pay cut, and many of Aichi's employees did not even receive verbal notice."

In addition to deducting wages without a statement, Aichi also cancelled the year-end bonus in 2019 for reasons such as the epidemic and the decline in the car market. Aichi car divides the year-end bonus performance assessment into three grades A, B and C, and gives out different amounts of year-end bonuses for different levels, but no matter A, B or C, the year-end bonuses are not won.

At present, some employees have reported the situation to the relevant departments, including: ① cancelled all benefits in February 2020 without consultation with any employees, and reduced the basic salary to 90% of the original, and the follow-up salary could not be guaranteed. ② has not yet awarded the 2019 year-end bonus.

Aichi said that it encountered a severe challenge in February due to the suspension of production by parts suppliers. Therefore, after fully informing employees, there is no such thing as "deducting" employees' wages by adopting a partial delay in February's wages. As for the issue of year-end bonus payment, there is no condition for year-end bonus payment because the 2019 performance does not meet the board's criteria for year-end bonus payment.

According to Tianyan check information, Aichi Automobile was founded in 2017 with a registered capital of 802 million yuan. Its business scope includes technical research and development of new energy vehicles and parts, product development, sales of auto parts, machinery and equipment, etc. Up to now, a total of four times of financing have been completed, but the cumulative financing is unknown.

Last December, Aichi launched its first volume production car, the Aichi U5, with a subsidised price of 19.79-292100 yuan and a NEDC comprehensive mileage of 503km.

According to the description of Aichi, in addition to being launched in the Chinese market, the car will also enter the European market in the future, so the car needs to be approved by collision agencies before it can be launched in Europe. However, the car was slapped in the face on the day of the launch, and the Aichi U5 received only three stars (failing) in the European E-NCAP crash test, the last of the batch of crash tests. As a mid-to-high-end pure electric SUV, this achievement undoubtedly makes Aichi car controversial.

Of course, the new car-building forces affected by the epidemic are not the only ones affected by the epidemic. Previously, Xilai announced that employees could apply for 13 salaries to be exchanged in whole or in part for shares. Weima Motor will also cancel the 2019 year-end bonus and extend the 13-salary payment in June.

Industry insiders said that due to the decline of the car market, car companies without brands, core technology, and capital, such as Huatai, Zhongtai, Lifan, Cheetah, Haima, and so on, will fall down, and the epidemic can be seen as a catalyst for speeding up the reshuffle of the automobile industry. it's not a bad thing for the auto market as a whole.
