BAIC New Energy performance declined. A few days ago, BAIC Blue Valley released its annual report in 2019, saying that the company achieved an operating income of 23.589 billion yuan in 2019, an increase of 30.39% over the same period last year, a net profit of 92.0101 million yuan, an increase of 25.54% over the same period last year, and a net profit of 870 million yuan after deducting non-operating profit and loss.

BAIC New Energy sold 150600 vehicles in 2019, down 4.69 per cent from a year earlier, according to the report. Affected by the downturn in the new energy market and the epidemic, BAIC sold only 9000 new energy vehicles from January to March 2020, down 64.1 per cent from the same period last year.

In its announcement, the company pointed out that in 2019, the new energy vehicle industry is facing three pressures: first, the continuous downward pressure of the automobile market; second, the sharp decline in subsidies for new energy vehicles has led to greater pressure of market fluctuations due to lack of market confidence; and third, the competitive pressure of foreign brands, new forces, and domestic traditional automobile enterprises to enter the new energy vehicle industry one after another. At the same time, new energy vehicle enterprises are facing the expansion pressure of electric and intelligent technological innovation, new generation product research and development and market share, and the operation of new energy enterprises is facing great challenges, but this is a necessary stage for the upward spiral development of emerging industries.

In March this year, the state announced that it would continue to strongly support the development of the new energy industry, and decided to extend the policy of subsidies and exemption from purchase tax for new energy vehicles for two years to December 31, 2022. The company said that on the one hand, the policy can effectively alleviate the impact of the epidemic on the domestic automobile industry, on the other hand, it can effectively reduce the cost pressure of the industrial chain, and give enterprises with core R & D technology more room for growth.

In March 2020, BAIC issued a "retail center sales assessment plan". In order to ensure that the task in March was achieved, the retail center formulated a full-staff sales link plan to assess the performance in March.

Among them, executives at the deputy general level who fail to complete the overall wholesale task in March will deduct 50% of the overall monthly salary of 70%, or even be removed from office. For the front-line leaders of the business department, if they fail to complete the wholesale task of the business department in March, they will be removed from office + deduct 20%-40% of their monthly salary. For all the staff of the sales department, depending on the overall wholesale completion rate of the business department, a certain proportion of the monthly salary will be deducted.

According to the March production and sales report, BAIC New Energy produced only 3876 vehicles and sold 5992 vehicles that month, down 66 per cent from the same period last year.
