Recall models:

From now on, recall some imported Infiniti Q50, Q60 cars and domestic Infiniti Q50L cars. (1) Nissan (China) Investment Co., Ltd.: recall some imported Infiniti Q50 and Q60 vehicles produced from April 1, 2014 to August 1, 2017, a total of 4568; (2) Dongfeng Motor Co., Ltd.: recall some domestic Infiniti Q50L vehicles produced from April 8, 2014 to December 14, 2017, a total of 49616 vehicles.

Reasons for recall:

When the vehicle cooler starts within the scope of this recall, oil leakage may occur at the joint of the engine high-pressure fuel pump and low-pressure fuel pipe, which does not meet the relevant provisions of the safety protection of the fuel system in the "Technical conditions for Safety of Motor vehicle Operation" GB 7258-2017, and violates the requirements of safety laws and regulations, there is a risk of fire and hidden dangers.

Solution:

Nissan (China) Investment Co., Ltd., Dongfeng Motor Co., Ltd., through Dongfeng Infiniti Automobile Co., Ltd., will replace the improved fuel lines for vehicles within the recall range free of charge to eliminate safety risks.

FAW-Volkswagen Audi: start the generator or cause a fire

FAW-Volkswagen Co., Ltd. filed the recall plan with the State Administration of Market Supervision and Administration in accordance with the requirements of the regulations on the Administration of defective Automobile products recall and the measures for the implementation of defective Automobile products recall regulations.

Recall models:

It was decided to recall some imported and domestic Audi cars in batches, totaling 391874. (1) some imported Audi A4 Avant 2.0T and A52.0T vehicles produced from September 19, 2019 to October 30, 2019, a total of 1868; (2) some domestic Audi A4L 2.0T, A6L 2.0T and Q5L 2.0T vehicles produced from August 17, 2017 to March 24, 2020, a total of 390006 vehicles.

Recall schedule:

The imported A4 Avant and A5 cars and the domestic A4L, A6L and Q5L cars produced before August 31, 2019 will be recalled from June 5, 2020, and the domestic A4L, A6L and Q5L vehicles produced after September 1, 2019 will be recalled from September 29, 2020.

Reasons for recall:

For the vehicles within the scope of this recall, due to the manufacturing reasons of the supplier, there may be small injection air holes inside the inverter that starts the generator, and when moisture accumulates in the air hole, it may lead to electrolytic short circuit of the electronic components inside the inverter, which may lead to local heat accumulation inside the starting generator. In extreme cases, the possibility of causing a fire in the vehicle can not be ruled out, and there is a safety hidden danger.

Solution:

FAW-Volkswagen Automobile Co., Ltd. will entrust Audi to authorize dealers to replace the starting generators for vehicles within the scope of the recall free of charge, in order to eliminate safety risks. In order to ensure the timely supply of spare parts, the starting generator recalled this time will use Audi's original remanufactured parts, which will use permanent waterproof paint to seal the conductive bracket that starts the generator inverter. in order to avoid the internal short circuit problem caused by water vapor entering the conductive bracket. Toyota: parking assist software startup program is not perfect

Toyota Motor (China) Investment Co., Ltd. filed the recall plan with the State Administration of Market Supervision and Administration in accordance with the requirements of the regulations on the Administration of defective Automobile products recall and the measures for the implementation of defective Automobile products recall regulations.

Recall models: it is decided to recall some imported Lexus LM and imported Toyota Elfa and Wilfa dual-engine vehicles, totaling 4558 vehicles, starting from May 21, 2020. (1) part of imported Lexus LM vehicles produced from November 7, 2019 to April 13, 2020; (2) part of imported Toyota Elfa dual-engine vehicles produced from January 7, 2020 to April 13, 2020, a total of 3080 vehicles; (3) part of imported Toyota will dual-engine vehicles produced from January 6, 2020 to April 13, 2020, a total of 697 vehicles.

Reasons for recall:

The software startup program of the parking auxiliary computer carried by the vehicle within the scope of this recall is not perfect, resulting in the warning text displayed by the panoramic monitor in English, which does not meet the requirements of the relevant national mandatory standards on "warning text for the marking of motor vehicles should be in Chinese", which may not play a sufficient warning role to drivers, and may cause vehicle collisions when reversing, and there are hidden dangers.

Solution:

Mercedes-Benz: unreasonable wiring harness / supercharger rubber tube material does not meet requirements / differential control unit does not meet specifications

Mercedes-Benz (China) Automobile sales Co., Ltd. filed the recall plan with the State Administration of Market Supervision and Administration in accordance with the regulations on the recall of defective Automobile products and the measures for the implementation of the regulations on the recall of defective Automobile products.

Recall models:

Recall some imported G-class, S-class, AMG GT vehicles. (1) from now on, recall some imported G-Class vehicles from May 25, 2018 to November 23, 2018, a total of 1656 vehicles; (2) from May 15, 2020, recall some imported G-Class, S-Class and AMG GT vehicles from May 18, 2018 to August 6, 2019, a total of 599 vehicles. (3) starting from August 28, 2020, a total of 4611 imported G-class vehicles with production dates from May 25, 2018 to September 24, 2019 will be recalled.

Reasons for recall:

(1) the wiring of the front door wiring harness of some vehicles within the scope of this recall is unreasonable, which may cause wire harness damage when the door is opened. The potential safety consequences depend on the specific wire harness affected, for example, it may affect the performance of the side collision restraint system, the automatic unlocking of the door during a collision, the position of the vehicle during an emergency call, the functions related to the door contact switch in the door lock, the functions of the rearview mirror (steering lights, blind spot monitoring, rearview mirror adjustment and heating), etc., it will increase the risk of vehicle collision and personal injury, and there are safety risks.

(2) the rubber material of the engine turbocharger intake pipe of some vehicles within the scope of this recall may not meet the requirements. The engine thermal load when the vehicle is running may cause the leakage of the turbocharger inlet pipe. The possibility of contact between the leaked oil and the hot parts in the engine cabin can not be ruled out, which will increase the risk of fire and there is a safety risk.

(3) the front and rear axle differential locking module control units of some vehicles within the scope of this recall do not meet the specifications, and their specific internal resistors may be affected by sulfur fumes produced by lubricating oils. If the resistor is damaged, the current calculated with the resistor will be higher than the actual current value, causing the communication between the control unit and the differential locking actuator to be turned off. In this case, both the ESP and ABS systems of the vehicle will be disabled and the previously locked / unlocked state of the differential lock can no longer be changed. Decommissioning the ESP and ABS systems may increase the risk of a collision under certain operating conditions; if the vehicle cannot unlock the differential on a paved road with high adhesion, the vehicle's maneuverability may be affected; and if the differential cannot be locked under off-road driving conditions, the tractive force of the vehicle may be affected. Taking into account all the above potential consequences, the related security risks can not be ruled out, there are security risks.

Solution method

(1) Mercedes-Benz (China) Automobile sales Co., Ltd. will re-wire the front door harness of the recalled vehicles free of charge by authorized service providers, and replace them if the wiring harness has been damaged, so as to eliminate safety risks.

(2) Mercedes-Benz (China) Automobile sales Co., Ltd. will replace the improved turbocharger fuel pipe for vehicles within the recall range free of charge through authorized service providers, so as to eliminate safety risks.

(3) Mercedes-Benz (China) Automobile sales Co., Ltd. will, through an authorized service provider, check the part numbers of differential locking modules installed on front and rear axles for vehicles within the recall scope, if it is an affected part, the qualified differential locking module will be replaced free of charge to eliminate safety risks.

Taken together, the recalled car brands include Infiniti, Audi, Lexus and Mercedes-Benz, with a total of 457482 vehicles recalled. Among them, Audi is the brand with the largest number of recalls, recalling nearly 390000 domestic Audi A4L, A6L and Q5L models because of generator problems. It is understood that in early April this year, the General Administration of Customs reported the risk of spontaneous combustion of a number of Audi.

Infiniti recalled 54184 cars, including imported Q50, Q60 and domestic Q50L, in terms of this recall. Infiniti has only two domestic models, which do not sell much in China but have many quality problems. at present, the competition in the luxury brand car market is fierce, and it is difficult for both Q50L and QX50 to stand out.

Toyota recalled a total of 6036 Lexus LM, Wilfa dual engines and Elfa dual engines, although the number of recalls is not very large, but the recalled models are all Toyota luxury minivans, especially the Lexus LM price increase of about 60-800000 yuan, while Elfa price increase is about 3-120000 yuan.

Mercedes-Benz can be said to be a regular on the recall list. This recall involves imported G-class, S-class and AMG GT vehicles, and the number of recalls is not very large, but judging from the situation in the past month or two, Mercedes-Benz often pays for low-level mistakes, such as wrong airbag labels, wrong brakes, possible water in the steering system, and so on. Including unreasonable wiring harness / supercharger rubber tube material does not meet the requirements / differential control unit does not meet the specifications.
