From the latest declaration information of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, Xiaopeng P7 production enterprise has been changed to Guangdong Fudi Automobile Co., Ltd.

In March 2020, Xiaopeng officially announced the acquisition of Guangdong Fudi Automobile Co., Ltd., the shareholder of the latter was changed to Zhaoqing Xiaopeng New Energy Investment Co., Ltd., and the legal representative was changed to Xia Heng, co-founder of Xiaopeng Automobile.

Guangdong Fudi Automobile Co., Ltd. is an automobile manufacturing enterprise designated by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of the people's Republic of China. It was established in April 2001. The factory is located in Shishan Science and Technology Industrial Park, Nanhai District, Foshan City, Guangdong Province. The company mainly produces pickups and SUV products, the current product line includes Lofu SUV, Xiongshi F22 pickup truck and Xiongshi F16 pickup truck.

Due to the changes in the market environment and the promotion of brands and products, Fudi Motor has also encountered difficulties. Ye Qing, chairman of Fudi Automobile, said last year that Fudi's vehicle business and stamping business are facing great tests, especially the vehicle business, which has declined sharply since the first half of last year and is facing great difficulties. Stamping business benefits from the diversity of customers and the increment brought about by new projects still has a small growth.

After Xiaopeng Motor won Guangdong Fudi Automobile, it solved the problem of passenger car production qualification very well.

Xiaopeng Motor's pure electric model Xiaopeng G3 is manufactured by Haima Automobile's Zhengzhou factory, and the new models to be launched in the future may be produced by Xiaopeng's self-built Zhaoqing factory in Guangdong. According to official sources, Xiaopeng P7 is indeed put into production in Zhaoqing base.

As early as May 2017, Xiaopeng Automobile Zhaoqing Base has been finalized. Xiaopeng officially announced that the 10 billion-level production base jointly planned with the Zhaoqing municipal government will be built in the Zhaoqing High-tech Zone. The project is divided into three phases, with a total investment of 10 billion yuan and a total planned land of 3000 mu. After the completion of the first phase of the construction of the base, it can achieve a maximum production capacity of 100000 units per year.

It is not uncommon for new car-building forces to acquire production qualifications through acquisitions. Xiaopeng P7 has launched a total of 8 models with long-range rear-drive, long-range rear-drive and high-performance four-wheel drive. Due to the price reduction competition of Tesla Model 3 domestic version, the market promotion of Xiaopeng P7 will be more difficult in the future.
