Some netizens said that the non-load-bearing body (girder frame) was designed to reduce deformation during the extreme off-road, but in terms of safety, the girder does not play a buffering role at all under this kind of collision, and under the reaction force, the car will definitely be bounced up, the off-road vehicle has a high center of gravity, and the rollover is normal.

However, the side small overlap collision test submitted by FCA showed that the herder did not rollover. In fact, FCA questioned the IIHS's rollover in the crash, and IIHS agreed to use FCA for a second test, but the second test result was also a vehicle rollover. Two experiments show that in small side overlap collisions, horse herders are indeed prone to rollover. However, according to the manufacturer's test, the new generation of horse herders are eligible for a better rating, and IIHS will make the final rating based on the manufacturer's test video and related documents.

In other respects, the Wrangler got a G (good) rating in the front moderate overlap collision, side impact test, roof strength test and head protection evaluation, but got P (bad rating) in the standard halogen headlamps and advanced LED projector headlights in the entry-level model.
