Some car owners complained that in April this year, a new car was ordered at GAC Honda Jintian 4S store for 140000 yuan. When the car was ready to be signed on the day of picking up the car, an operation of the 4S store sales consultant made the car owner suspicious. Finally, it was found that the high-equipped car on the contract became low-equipped car, and the contract was changed.

It is understood that when the car owner Mr. Guo was ready to sign on the day of picking up the car, the sales consultant suddenly proposed to recall the car purchase contract and could only give customers a copy. Mr. Guo said, "because he didn't understand the contract when he bought the car for the first time, he (the sales consultant) said that the original contract would be recovered and a copy would be given to the customer if he wanted to." As a result, the sales consultant took away Mr. Guo's car purchase contract and gave him a copy.

After Mr. Guo carried the car home, the more he thought about it, the more wrong it became. In his opinion, the contract was originally in duplicate, and there was no reason for the 4s store to recycle it. Within a few days, he drove the car back to GAC Honda Jintian 4S store. Mr. Guo proposed that the purchase of cars by public institutions should be put on record and asked for back the original car purchase contract from the 4s store in this name.

After getting back the car purchase contract, Mr. Guo found something unusual. Comparing the original contract with the copy, we can see that there is an obvious difference between the original contract and the copy, in which the original contract is signed as "avant-garde version", but the copy says "elite version". The configuration of the two versions is 11 items less.

In Mr. Guo's view, he took a fancy to the Guangzhou Auto Honda Vanguard 1.5L, paid for the avant-garde version, and finally proposed an elite version, and the copy of the contract also became an elite version, which made it difficult for him to accept.

In response to the customer's "contract recovery" and "configuration is not in line with" the matter, GAC Honda Jinhua Jintian 4S store sales manager did not give a direct answer. "these two things are not clear now," he said. "it would be better to leave the contract to the professionals."

Subsequently, the 4S store explained that the car that Mr. Guo bought for 140000 was a low-configuration elite version, but the salesman carelessly wrote it as a high-configuration vanguard version, which was a clerical error and was willing to take responsibility in this regard.

The sales manager of the 4S store said that we are willing to deliver to him according to the model that Mr. Guo thinks, and the price difference does not have to be borne by Mr. Guo.

Finally, Mr. Guo said that he did not agree with this, but sold him a low-equipped car as a high-equipped car. In his view, the 4S store was ready to cheat.

For this matter, it is difficult to say whether it is a "clerical error" or "deception". As a big brand 4S store, if there is any negligence, you should take the initiative to explain to the customer after finding the problem, eliminate the misunderstanding, instead of concealing the situation and secretly changing the contract. Once it is found to be a fraud, the consequence is likely to be a refund of one to three.
