What's really confusing isn't how many cars are sold, but the model itself. In fact, Ford 1.5T PHEV has appeared in the NEV sales list in March, with Ford Sharp 1.5T PHEV sales of 1183 units in that month, ranking 10th in the NEV sales list.

In the regular manufacturer sales report, there are mainly three institutions, namely, the Association, China Automobile Association and China Automobile Research Institute. These three institutions are the main data sources for most media analysis of production and sales volume, but the data sources of these three institutions are different to some extent.

Compared with the above two institutions, the difference between the two associations is relatively large. Established in 1994, the Passenger Car Market Information Joint Conference is a well-known information exchange and market research platform for the automobile industry in China. Strictly speaking, it is only an organization between the sales departments of domestic passenger car enterprises. Its main function is to exchange sales information among passenger car enterprises.

For consumers, the number of car sales reflects the performance of the model in the market to a certain extent, so it also has certain reference value for consumers to buy cars. If there is an error in the statistics, it will also lead to the wrong orientation of consumers to buy cars, so institutions should adopt a rigorous attitude when compiling statistics. It is still unknown whether it was deleted because of the error in the sales volume of Sharp 1.5T PHEV.
