According to the latest auto market statistics of many countries around the world in April, only the Chinese market has obviously stabilized, and the decline is much smaller than that of other countries. While other countries have been affected by the epidemic to accelerate the rate of decline, such as the United Kingdom, France, Spain and other places in Europe fell by more than 95%, and even fell by 100% in the Indian market. It has to be said that the impact of this epidemic on the global car market is enormous.

Specifically, the Asian market has been better than the European market since the outbreak. For example, in the most difficult February, the Chinese market only declined by less than 80% compared with the same period last year, although the decline in sales volume was also very large. however, compared with the current decline of more than 80% or even nearly 100% in many European countries, it also shows that the Chinese market has declined greatly, but not the biggest. And thanks to the effective control of the epidemic, the decline narrowed sharply to 5.6% in April this year, making it one of the few countries with a small decline.

Compared with Japan and South Korea, the other two countries with the larger Asian automobile market, the decline is less than 50%. Among them, the Japanese region has expanded from 9.3% in March to 28.6%. Although the decline has further expanded, according to the local epidemic situation in Japan, it has been gradually brought under control, which means that the car market will pick up with the gradual recovery of the local market economy. According to the five major vehicle manufacturers in South Korea, including Hyundai, Kia, Korea General Motors, Ssangyong and Renault Samsung, after falling 2.5% year on year in South Korea and domestic markets in March, although it has expanded to 6.1%, the situation is not serious, and with the control of the epidemic, it will gradually recover.

Of course, there are exceptions. The Indian market has expanded to 100% from a year-on-year decline of 51.3% in March, meaning that there were no sales in India in April, only zero. At the same time, under the strict control of the government, zero production has also become the biggest decline in many countries, which has led to zero sales in the Indian car market for the first time.

As for the European market, after the worst period of the epidemic, a number of car companies have stopped work and stopped sales since the government introduced a "restraining order" in March. However, due to short-term restrictions, the European region did not have much effect. In response, many European countries postponed the introduction of restrictions until early May, so that the market was once in the doldrums. At the same time, it also made many European countries set the "worst" record in automobile history.

Although data from the United Kingdom, Italy, France and Spain show that they have hit rock bottom, local epidemic control has also been gradually brought under control. The control of epidemic data in Spain is relatively large compared with several other European countries, so it is speculated that the Spanish market will also become a market with a slow recovery, but it also proves that the European market has gone through the most difficult times. However, it is worth noting that due to the late growth of the epidemic in Russia, the market performance is still expected to be difficult to improve next month.

Compared with the United States, Canada and Brazil in the Americas, sales declined greatly in April, but due to the late spread of the epidemic, the number of people in Brazil is still soaring because it does not attach importance to the control of the epidemic. Therefore, as the epidemic becomes more and more serious, domestic production and life are gradually more affected, car trading volume is bound to decrease significantly. The United States and Canada are still at the peak of the epidemic, but due to the rejection of government "restriction orders" by some local markets and the recovery of some factories, the market has not intensified and declined, but market performance has not changed significantly.

In any case, with the obvious recovery of the Chinese market, the control of the epidemic in Europe and the gradual recovery of factories, it may lead to some recovery of the global market in the future.
