After Guangzhou Auto Toyota launched its first pure electric-C-HR EV on April 22nd, FAW-Toyota officially announced that the first pure electric-Yize IZOA E went on sale today.

Yize IZOA has launched a total of three models with a combined subsidized price of 22.58-253800, including 225800 yuan for the Zhixing version, 237800 yuan for the Smart Edition and 253800 yuan for the Zhizun version.

The appearance of the Yize IZOA E engine basically continues the design of the fuel version, with the front face using the fully enclosed forward air grille commonly used by new energy vehicles, equipped with large-size rims and the popular LED front and rear lamp group. At the same time, the new car uses a blue Toyota logo and a "EV" logo at the front, a "ELETRIC" logo on the side panel and rear, and the tail cancels the exhaust design, highlighting the status symbol of new energy vehicles. In terms of body size, the length, width and height of the new car are 4405/1795/1575mm and the wheelbase is 2640mm.

The interior layout of Yize IZOA E engine is basically the same as that of Yize IZOA, but there are some adjustments in the start button, the shape of the stopper and the layout below the center console. The new gear has been replaced with an electronic bezel with B gear, and a set of front USB interface and driving mode selection buttons have been added. In configuration, the low and medium configuration models of the new car are equipped with 7-inch LCD dashboards, and the high-end models are equipped with 12.3-inch full LCD dashboards, with new functions such as electric adjustment of the main driving seat, heating of the steering wheel, liquid crystal instruments and self-adaptive cruising in the full speed range.

In terms of power, Yize IZOA E engine is equipped with Aisin permanent magnet synchronous output motor, which has a maximum power of 150kW (204PS), a maximum torque of 300N ·m, a range of 400km under NEDC conditions and a maximum speed of 160km/h.

Yize has not been in China for a long time. This model has many advantages but also many disadvantages, but it is still very popular in terms of market sales. Yize IZOA sold 4075 vehicles in April, according to the data.

The competitor of Yize E must be C-HR EV, as a sister model, the power parameters and space performance of the two cars are basically the same, and the price is also very similar, but in terms of configuration, Yize E is richer than C-HR EV. In addition, these two cars also have a strong rival, that is Beijing Hyundai's Onchino pure electric, which sells for 172800-198800, has a maximum range of 500km, and has advantages in price and range, but ultimately depends on the price of the terminal.

According to Toyota's plan, Toyota will accelerate the introduction of EV with C-HR EV/ Yize E as the starting point. It plans to launch 10 pure electric models in China by 2025 and sell more than 5.5 million electric models by 2030. It is hoped that this goal can be achieved as soon as possible through the promotion and popularization of electric models.
