The foreign matter was a piece of paint protective pad left in the front cabin during the pre-delivery maintenance process of the accident vehicle.

The ideal car indicates that after the disassembly of the accident vehicle, it is confirmed that: (1) the oil pipeline of the range extender and the fuel is in good condition, and the whole combustion process is broken and the fuel leaks. (2) The double motor, motor controller, high-voltage wiring harness located in the front cabin, and battery in the middle of the vehicle body are not burned and structurally damaged, and the insulation layer of the high-voltage wiring harness is not damaged. (3) The range extension system and electric drive system are normal.

For the occurrence of the fire incident, Ideal Car made an apology: we sincerely apologize for not being able to give an answer to the owners in the first place. The ideal car said that three measures will be taken to avoid such accidents: (1) replace the paint protection pad with a striking color to improve recognition and avoid visual omissions. The specific reasons were still under analysis and investigation.
