The Hongqi E115 concept car was first launched at the Frankfurt Motor Show in September 2019, and the Guangzhou Motor Show was unveiled in China. The production version of the Hongqi E115 concept car is the E-HS9 model exposed above. The car as a whole highly restored concept car, using the latest red flag family design style, styling science fiction avant-garde, is currently the red flag brand's largest and most expensive mass production SUV.

According to relevant documents, Red Flag will start production of the pure electric SUV code E115 in 2020, with a total investment of 1.75 billion yuan and a maximum production capacity of 51500 vehicles within six years of planning.

In terms of appearance, the front face of the red flag E115 has a strong visual impact, and the straight waterfall middle net is a family design of the red flag, with a domineering front. At the same time, the front of the new car is surrounded by both sides to create an exaggerated style through LED light source. On the new car, a number of details highlight the unique characteristics of the red flag brand, including the red flag LOGO in the middle of the front, red decorations on both sides of the body, and so on.

After completing the layout of medium and low-end models, Hongqi brand began to focus on the high-end market, in which the Hongqi H9 medium-sized sedan will be launched in June 2020, while the exposed Red Flag E-HS9 is expected to be available within this year. In addition, the Red Flag brand has planned the next generation of Red Flag L5 new flagship sedan and Red Flag S9 supercar.

According to the plan, Hongqi brand will form 21 brand-new products covering L (supreme car), S (sedan car), H (mainstream car) and Q (commercial car) in the next five years. Red Flag officials also announced a sales target of 200000 vehicles in 2020.
