Last year, Zhongtai i-across concept car was officially unveiled at the Beijing Auto Show, and now Zhongtai has released the mass production version of the i-across concept car, the new car internal code B21, the overall outline looks more original and will be officially unveiled at the Shanghai Auto Show.

According to the design drawing, in the front face design, the i-across mass production version of a word-shaped bright strip runs through the upper and lower LED headlights and converges into the turn light lines, the horizontal effect is full.

From the side, the line of the new car is simple, and the arc of the roof creates a moving effect.

From the rear point of view, the visual effect of the gradual narrowing of the rear window of the trunk creates a stable and powerful rear of the body, and the all-in-one taillights that meet each other look very stylish and echo the front face.

When it comes to Zhongtai, the first thing that comes to mind must be the words "shanzhai" and "Porsche". In the early years, Zhongtai was popular all over the country by virtue of a SR9 similar to the Porsche macan, and recently Zhongtai also began to take the road of original design, buying big-name designers.

In September 2018, Anthony, former European Design Director of SAIC Group / Global Design Director of MG joined Zhongtai, responsible for the styling design of Zhongtai "Zhimei China car" series. Anthony once served as the global director of SAIC Technology Center. During the more than 10 years from joining SAIC in 2005 to leaving in 2017, he led and developed the product design studios of Roewe and Mingjue brands. In addition, he also led the design of SAIC's two-generation products, such as Roewe RX5, Roewe i6, MG Icon concept car, MG GS and so on.

Recently, Zhongtai invited Martin Klop, the chief designer of Volkswagen, to join. Martin Klop graduated from the Royal College of Art in London and has nearly 30 years of design experience in the field of automotive industry design. He has served as a global design expert for Volkswagen, responsible for the design and development of the first generation Volkswagen CC, Longyi, Santana, Bora, Jetta and other models. Martin Crowe was responsible for the design of the first-generation Volkswagen CC, which was once called "the most beautiful car of Volkswagen" in the industry.
