At present, the imported A7 starts at 573800, and the domestic A7L may enter the range of 500000 yuan.

In terms of appearance, SAIC Audi A7L and A7 will not be much different, using a large sliding back coupe shape and frameless door design, but the details of the new car will certainly have a certain adjustment. At present, the body size of the imported Audi A7 is 4976/1908/1405mm, and its wheelbase is 2928mm, which is closer to 100mm than the 3024mm of Audi A6L. However, according to sources, in order to meet the space requirements, the domestic A7 wheelbase will be consistent with the domestic A6L, so as to enhance the competitiveness of domestic Audi A7L products.

In terms of power, according to previous information, SAIC Audi A7L is equipped with high and low power version 2.0T and 3.0T turbocharged engine + 48V light mixing system respectively. The maximum power of the low power version 2.0T engine is 140kW, and the peak torque is 320N ·m. The maximum power of 2.0T engine is 180kW and the peak torque is 370N ·m. The 3.0T V6 turbocharged engine has a maximum output power of 250kW, a peak torque of 500N ·m, and a 48V light mixing system as standard. It is unknown whether the domestic version will change the power system.

SAIC exposed the news of domestic Audi as early as 2018, but the time was not ripe and it was opposed by FAW Audi dealers. However, with SAIC-Volkswagen transferring 1% of its stake to Audi, it means that SAIC-Volkswagen is already qualified to produce and sell Audi-branded products.

For SAIC, it currently has joint venture brands such as Volkswagen, Buick, Skoda, Cadillac and so on. although it has rich brands, only Cadillac competes with other brands in the high-end market. Audi brand has a deep-rooted position in China's high-end market, and it also plays an important role in joining SAIC. For SAIC Volkswagen, it will have three major brands: Volkswagen, Skoda and Audi in the future, covering from first-and second-tier joint venture brands to high-end brand camps. For Audi, it means that Audi will have a second partner in China.

In addition to the Audi A7L, the second SAIC Audi model put into production is a medium-and large-scale fuel SUV. According to relevant government documents, the Ningbo branch of SAIC-Volkswagen Motor Co., Ltd. applied for Audi C-level SUV technical renovation project, with a planned annual production capacity of 75000 vehicles. At present, only Q7 and Q8 are available in Audi's medium-and large-scale automobile / diesel SUV, but which model will be put into production in the future remains to be confirmed.

According to Audi's plan, it plans to launch seven local models in the next five years, and sales in China will double to 1.2 million in six years. In addition, in addition to new energy vehicles and pure electric vehicles made in China, more subdivided models will be launched in China in the future.
