The car was in a starting state but could not drive normally. The trailer towed the car to the 4S store to eliminate the fault code, and the car returned to normal. But within a few days, Sonata had a more serious problem.

Mr. Zhao said that at that time, the car was driving on the highway and suddenly did not respond when stepping on the accelerator. fortunately, he handled it properly, otherwise the consequences would be unimaginable. According to Mr. Zhao, the same fault was repaired three times in the 4S store last year. After the third time, the car was normal for more than half a year, but in March this year, the same fault occurred again. Mr. Zhao was very angry and asked the 4S store to give a reasonable explanation.

The explanation given by the 4S store is that the weather in Hangzhou is relatively humid, causing the large battery pack at the back to get damp. Mr. Zhao could not accept the explanation given by the 4S store. Mr. Zhao said, is this Sonata not suitable for opening in Hangzhou? There are many wetter places in the country than in Hangzhou. What should the car owners do there? In response to Mr. Zhao's question, the 4S store also gave a statement.

4S store after-sales manager said that it should be the battery module problem, because there are eight modules, including one or two modules in the case of water droplets. According to the after-sales manager, it may be the poor sealing of the battery and the failure caused by short circuit caused by water leakage. As for why there are water droplets in the situation, the after-sales manager said that the battery is not something we can explain at this level.

Now that the problem has been found, why does the fault still occur? can't the problem be solved completely? The 4S store admits that the battery handling of gas-electric hybrid models is not as professional as the manufacturer, but for Mr. Zhao's car, the manufacturer has given the final solution. The after-sales manager said that the solution given by the manufacturer is to replace the module, which also enjoys a warranty of 150000 km for 8 years.

The defective battery can be replaced free of charge, but Mr. Zhao cannot accept it. Mr. Zhao thinks that there is something wrong with the whole battery and must be replaced completely. In this regard, the 4S store said that it can apply to the manufacturer.

Data show that Beijing Hyundai Sonata 9PHEV officially launched on August 7, 2018, a total of three new models, the subsidized price is 18.98-223800 yuan. The new car is equipped with a plug-in hybrid system composed of a 2.0L naturally aspirated engine, a motor and a ternary lithium battery pack, in which the maximum power of the engine is 156hp, the maximum power of the driving motor is 68hp, the capacity of the battery pack is 12.9kWh, and the pure electric mileage (NEDC) can reach 75km.

Through the online inquiry, there is also a similar situation in the same Sonata.
