After something went wrong with the new car, Mr. Zhou sent the car to the 4S store for repair. the 4S store said it needed to upgrade the software, but the same failure occurred again after the software upgrade, and the 4S store still could not eliminate it after several repairs.
At present, the car has run 5451 kilometers, and there have been four problems with the engine turning on the yellow light in the two months since the new car was bought. Until now, this fault has not been eliminated. Mr. Zhou said that he never dared to drive the car again, so he asked the 4S store to return the car, and the 4S store also agreed to return the car, but on one condition.
Mr. Zhou said that the 4S store agreed to return the car, but there was a depreciation fee of more than 10,000 yuan, and he could not accept such a condition, because the failure of the car was not caused by him, but by the quality of the product itself. So, why does the BMW 5-Series engine fault light turn on repeatedly, maintenance so many faults still exist? With regard to the problems encountered by Mr. Zhou, automobile rights experts from the Zhejiang Consumer Protection Commission also suggested that consumers can return and change their cars free of charge with reference to the fact that the same fault has been repaired five times and cannot be repaired.
