According to foreign media, BMW Group has formally appointed Jozef Kaba coach as the design director of the ultra-luxury Rolls-Royce brand, while Giles Taylor, the former Rolls-Royce design director, has joined the Chinese brand FAW Red Flag.

Jozef Kaba coach worked as a designer at BMW for two years before leaving Rolls-Royce.

Kaban, 46, became famous during his time at Volkswagen, where he created a number of classic models. A year after graduating from the Royal College of Design in London, Kaba Kaba was involved in the design of the Bugatti Weihai supercar, which sells for as much as $1.1 million. Since then, he has worked in the Volkswagen Group, where Kaban was appointed Audi Design Director in 2007 and Skoda Design Director a year later, including Skoda Mingrui and Kodiak models designed by him.

In February 2017, Kaban announced to join BMW Group after leaving office.

It is worth mentioning that former Rolls-Royce design director Giles Taylor (Giles Taylor) has joined FAW Red Flag, during his eight years at Rolls-Royce, he led the design of important models such as Phantom, Obsidian, Phantom and Rolls-Royce's first SUV, the Cullinan.

Global sales of ultra-luxury brand Rolls-Royce reached 4107 vehicles in 2018, up 22.2% from a year earlier, according to data. Among them, the Chinese market grew by more than 40%, contributing 20% of Rolls-Royce's sales.
