According to the financial website, an industry source close to Changan NIO said: "with the capital increase, Changan NIO will dilute its stake, and then Changan Ulai will launch high-end brand new energy models, whose production and research mainly rely on the Changan system." this also means that the high-end brand of Changan Automobile will fall to the ground. "

It is understood that Changan Lai's new brand planning has a clear timetable. At present, the new car is still in the development stage, and the first model is expected to land in the second half of 2021. Although this capital increase does not rule out the entry of social capital, Changan Automobile will occupy more dominance, and its high-end brand has also made substantial progress.

According to public information, Changan Lai was established on July 10, 2018 as a joint venture between Shanghai Ulai Automobile Co., Ltd. and Chongqing Changan Automobile Co., Ltd., each holding 50% of the shares. The mode of Changan NIO is different from that of Jianghuai NIO. Changan NIO is regarded as the landing entity of Changan high-end brand, and the joint venture company will jointly develop new products.

However, two years have passed since Changan Automobile announced in April 2018 that it would build a high-end brand, but the veil of this high-end brand has not been lifted.
