A few days ago, some media exposed a group of suspected Great Wall's Euler brand new models, model code ES11, meaning will become the fourth production model of the Euler brand, expected to be produced by the end of October this year.

According to the news, this model will be carried out in Taizhou factory, one of the eight vehicle production bases of Great Wall Motor, with a total investment of about 8.2 billion yuan. It is expected that the production event will be put into production on October 31 this year, which means that the model will be listed at the end of the year. Since the model has not been officially named yet, it is currently coded ES11.

It is reported that this model is positioned as a 5-door 5-seat hatchback A-class pure electric vehicle. In appearance, the new car continues the overall smaller and rounded styling style of the Euler brand. The front face is designed with two round frog-eye headlights and raised covers on both sides, which is very similar to Porsche brand at a glance. Due to the positioning of the electric vehicle, the air intake grille was not designed, and only similar black plastic was incorporated into the front bar.

On the side, because the model is positioned as a sedan, it adopts SUV body design similar to Porsche Macan, which makes the model look uncoordinated in the proportion of the whole vehicle, while the C-pillar is like integrating the design of Mercedes-Benz CLA model, making the whole vehicle look more like a crossover model. The rear of the car body is integrated into the shape of the previous generation Audi Q5, which also maintains the tailgate design extending to both sides, as well as the fog lamp design on both sides of the tail.

It has been nearly two years since Euler brand was launched as Great Wall in 2018. At present, iQ and R1 models are sold, which are based on the brand-new ME pure electric platform. Meanwhile, R2 model, as its third model, will be launched in the near future, which means that with the production and launch of the current code ES11 model, the layout of new energy vehicles by Great Wall Euler brand will be expanded this year.

Perhaps since the launch of the first model R1 of the Euler brand copied Honda e and Smart and became a hot topic, but it seized a certain market highland through certain cost performance and took the lead in listing, helping to improve the sales volume of the Euler brand.

Data shows that 2333 vehicles were sold accumulatively in May, with a month-on-month growth of 32%, which is better than the market performance; 6801 vehicles were sold accumulatively in the first May, realizing the narrowing of sales decline for three consecutive months under the influence of epidemic situation. As for the new models that will be produced and incorporate more luxury elements, whether they can help their brands achieve sales growth can only be seen by the market.
