Earlier, officials said they would limit the production of the last 30 Muchan 6.75 Edition special edition models, while the last Bentley Muchan was based on the special edition, and there has been no successor since then.

Muchan is the flagship model of the Bentley brand after replacing Arnage. Since it was sold in 2009, it has delivered more than 7300 units worldwide in the past 11 years.

According to Bentley officials, with the official suspension of production of Muchan, Flying has become the flagship model of the Bentley sedan series at this stage. Adrian Hallmark, Bentley's chief executive, had previously said that Bentley had decided to abandon work on the next generation of Mooshan models and hinted that a new plug-in hybrid SUV was likely to be launched as the brand's flagship model.

In terms of appearance, the most obvious feature of the new car is the rose gold and gray double-body design, which is the same as the previously released special version, which is decorated with chrome at the headlights and taillights. and the engine cover, forward grille and exhaust ports are in a bright black style. In order to further demonstrate the special identity of the new car, the new car uses a special badge behind the front wheel and the same bottom welcome light as the side badge.

The interior is made by Bentley's Mulliner custom division and its seats are made of custom leather in four different colors. The new car uses a unique 6.75 Edition pattern behind the back of the seat, while the numbered nameplate of a limited number is used behind the handle to reflect its exclusive identity.

In terms of power, the new car is equipped with a 6.75L V8 twin-turbocharged engine with a maximum power of 537hp, a peak torque of 1100 Nm, an extreme speed of 305km and a 100km/h acceleration time of 4.9s. The engine intake manifold of the special edition model has a unique black design, and the engine number nameplate will be personally signed by Bentley Chairman and CEO Adrian Hallmark (Adrian Hallmark).

It is worth noting that the 6.75L V8 engine used in the car is the longest continuously produced V8 engine in the world, and this year also marks the 60th anniversary of its continuous production. The last 6.75 liter V8 engine will also be installed on the last Bentley Muchan version 6.75. In the future, Bentley will focus on 6.0L W12, 4.0L V8 and V6 hybrid engines.

After the suspension of production, the Bentley product line, in addition to the SUV model, has a two-door GT coupe / convertible (Continental GT) and a four-door sports sedan (Flying Spur).

According to official Bentley data, the brand delivered 11006 new cars worldwide in 2019, the seventh year in a row that sales exceeded 10, 000, making the new Continental GT the best-selling model of the Bentley brand. The US market remains Bentley's largest single market, with annual sales of 2913 units, followed by Europe with 2670 units, while the Chinese market fell to third place due to delivery cycle problems, with a total of 1940 Bentley cars delivered in Japan and South Korea.

Poor sales may be an important reason why Muchan finally stopped production and did not have a successor, and Bentley officials have confirmed that they have abandoned work on the next generation of Muchan models or will launch a new plug-in hybrid SUV as the brand's flagship model.
