On June 30, the latest "Dealer inventory early warning Index Survey" released by the China Automobile Circulation Association reported that the inventory early warning index of automobile dealers in June was 56.8%, up 2.6 percentage points from the previous month and 6.4 percentage points from the same period last year. Inventory early warning index is above the rise and fall line.

The association pointed out that June was at the half-yearly task assessment node, and dealers exchanged prices for quantity to boost terminals in order to complete the assessment tasks. oversupply led to fierce price competition, a decline in bicycle profits and even upside-down sales prices, and dealers' income decreased.

From the sub-brand type index, imports and luxury brands, mainstream joint venture brand index rose month-on-month, independent brand index decreased month-on-month. Under the influence of factory policies, independent brands focus on May, sales targets in June are relatively conservative, and inventory levels decline. The dealer inventory early warning index of mainstream joint venture brands was 58.9% in June, up 5.5 percentage points from the previous month.

Retail sales made relatively low progress in the first three weeks of June, down 13% from a year earlier, according to the Federation of passengers. With the release of rigid demand from March to May and previously pent-up demand, coupled with the rapid rise in temperatures in June, the car market has entered the traditional light quarter, and retail sales will fall seasonally in June.
