And by launching two services,"extra long warranty free" and road rescue, new Infiniti users will enjoy a more valuable after-sales service experience. Infiniti can provide 4 years or 100,000 kilometers of free accident rescue service for new car buyers after July 1 on the basis of 24-hour emergency free road rescue service.

In fact, when Infiniti landed in the Chinese market, it once provided 9 free maintenance policies for the whole series for 4 years or 100,000 kilometers, leaving a good impression on the market of "consumer-centered and low maintenance cost", which was previously regarded as one of the biggest selling points of Infiniti models. Lexus, a car brand in the second camp of luxury cars, also has the same exemption policy. However, at the end of June 2018, Infiniti officially ended this policy, that is, new users who purchased Infiniti since July 1 of the same year will not be able to enjoy such a thoughtful maintenance policy.

Therefore, for Infiniti to "freely" adjust the new car free maintenance service in the eyes of some old customers, it seems to be some "children's play". Because this new car maintenance service is only for new car buyers after July 1 this year, and customers who have been cancelled halfway for two years cannot enjoy it.

If calculated according to the basic maintenance of Infiniti models, the cost of 9 maintenance will be close to more than 20,000 yuan, whether it is high or low. Data show that in 2017, Dongfeng Infiniti sales in China climbed to 48,000 vehicles. But then it plummeted, with sales falling to only 29,000 vehicles in 2018. In 2019, thanks to the luxury market effect and significant profit margins at the end of the model, it grew 18.1% year-on-year to 33,400 vehicles. However, affected by the epidemic and the market, Dongfeng Infiniti accumulated sales from January to May this year only 6233 vehicles, down 42.2% year-on-year.

But its chief executive stressed that Infiniti was firmly rooted in the luxury segment, explaining that the shared platform was simply to save money.
