Jia Yueting's Faraday Future FF officially announced the new partner as the ninth city on March 25, and revealed that the two sides set up a joint venture company to produce and sell the new brand electric vehicle V9 in China. Jia Yueting updated his micro blog today and released a modeling picture of the brand-new model V9 to see what this model is made for the Chinese market.

Jia Yueting said that the basic design concept of the V9 is "a luxury mobile intelligent space integrating design, artificial intelligence and seamless interconnection of people and vehicles." It can be seen that the appearance of V9 is very different from that of our traditional car. It seems to have two different designs from top to bottom. The front and rear of the upper part also adopt flashing light belts. The whole is more like a future concept car.

On March 25, Ninth City formally signed an agreement with FF and announced the formation of a joint venture company to manufacture, market and operate electric vehicles in China, of which Ninth City invested up to US $600 million (about RMB 4 billion), accounting for 50% of the joint venture company.

Specifically, the joint venture will produce and sell the new electric vehicle brand V9 in China, a model specifically aimed at the Chinese consumer market. FF will provide the JV Company with relevant property rights and resources, including the injection of relevant production base projects in China, and will grant the JV Company exclusive production, marketing and sales rights for vehicle models.

According to the plan, the joint venture company expects to produce 300,000 smart electric vehicles annually in China, and realize the off-line production and scheduled sales of mass production vehicles by 2020.

Ninth City was once one of the largest game developers and operators in China, starting from the agent World of Warcraft. On the Forbes China Rich List in 2003, Zhu Jun, 37, chairman of Jiucheng, ranked 66th with a net worth of US $150 million. In 2005, Ninth City was listed on NASDAQ, the second Chinese online game company to be listed in the United States after Shanda. However, due to poor follow-up game development, Jiucheng began to deteriorate, in recent years the company is in a state of performance losses.

After obtaining a new partner, Jia Yueting FF has been funded in a short period of time, and the award continues to push forward the mass production goal of FF 91. Earlier, FF sold 900 acres of land in North Las Vegas, Nevada, for $40 million. In addition, FF headquarters has been sold, FF will continue to use in the form of rent, in order to prepare funds to help the company maintain operations.

From Rongchuang to Evergrande, Jia Yueting jumped tickets many times, and his reputation fell all the way. After obtaining a new partner, FF will open a new road to build cars again, and the Chinese market will become their target. Whether V9 can be successfully launched in mass production and recognized is very important for FF and Jia Yueting to continue mass production.
