On the power side, the new car will be equipped with a 1.5T turbocharged engine and a 2.0L hybrid engine, with a drivetrain matching CVT and E-CVT gearboxes, respectively. In addition, the domestic CR-V model will also increase the plug-in hybrid version this year, and the launch time may be at the end of the year.

Last year, the cash Honda CR-V helped Dongfeng Honda achieve full-year sales growth with an average monthly sales of more than 20, 000 vehicles, but since the beginning of this year, production and sales have fallen sharply as a result of the COVID-19 epidemic, almost halting production in February and March. As the epidemic is gradually brought under control, Dongfeng Honda's production capacity has gradually recovered, but sales of CR-V models seem to have been affected, with a total of 21333 new cars in April as the market rebounded, but sales declined after the market came out of the final performance of the year in May, with a total of 17052 vehicles sold in a single month, a month-on-month decline. On the other hand, Guangzhou Auto Haoying, which is also Honda, achieved month-on-month growth, maintaining more than 10,000 units in two months.

In this regard, with the gradual intensification of the competitiveness of compact SUV models in the domestic market, the new listed CR-V models may have a certain impact. After all, cash models have been on the market for a long time, and they will also give some concessions on terminal concessions, but with the new models on the market, the concessions will be reduced, so compared with the same brand of Haoying, will also lose a certain degree of competitiveness.
