Then Ms. Guo contacted the 4S store, which said that there may be something wrong with the odometer sensor and asked Ms. Guo to drive the car back to the 4S store to check.

Ms. Guo drove the car back to the 4S store, and staff at the 4S store said the Jaguar XEL was a display car that had been exhibited outside, so it had a mileage of 200km. After hearing such news, Ms. Guo was very angry, in her view, such important information 4S store did not inform, there is the suspicion of deliberately concealing.

Ms. Guo said that the 4S store sales consultant did not mention that it was an exhibition car from beginning to end, nor did she ask in detail, because consumers' inherent perception that the 4S store must be selling a new car, no one was willing to buy a new car but mentioned a show car.

The 4S store said that the car bought by Ms. Guo is indeed an exhibition car, but it is also a new car. It was produced in November 2019 and has not been sold, and Ms. Guo has been informed about the show car during the sales process.

According to a purchase agreement presented by the 4S store, the mileage of the car is 186 kilometers. However, Ms. Guo said that although the mileage indicated in the contract was 186 kilometers, the sales consultant did not elaborate on the contents of the contract.

The 4S store said that the staff may have some defects in fluency and is willing to give Ms. Guo some compensation, and the two sides are currently in negotiations.

Some experts said that the exhibition car can be sold, but it must be clearly informed before consumers buy a car. Generally speaking, a new car with a mileage of more than 50 kilometers is likely to be an exhibition car.
