Chang 'an Automobile Sales Report achieved 194,400 automobile sales in June, an increase of 38.11% year-on-year. Many of its subsidiaries saw a proportional increase in sales volume, including Chang' an Ford and Chang 'an Mazda, which increased by more than 30% in June.

Thanks to this, Chang 'an Automobile also achieved proportional growth in the first half of the year, with a cumulative sales of 831,000 new vehicles, up 1.3% year-on-year.

Specifically, Chang 'an Ford sold 22125 new cars in June, up 37% year-on-year. Under the continuous launch of new products, Chang' an Ford ushered in a sales stop. In the first half of the year, Changan Ford accumulated sales of 97,500 vehicles, an increase of 30% year-on-year.

According to official disclosure, at present, Ruiji has become Chang 'an Ford's main sales model. Other new products, the first half of the new Mondeo, sharp international two-drive version, domestic explorers listed, the second half of the domestic Fox travel version is also expected to launch the market. Changan Ford accelerated the updating and localization of products, and there were also minor adjustments in positioning, so the sales recovery has been effective. The company has said it will launch at least 18 new models over the next three years.

With the continuous decrease of new car sales scale, Chang 'an Ford has become a "frustrated" automobile enterprise in the Chinese market under the stock competition, from nearly one million vehicles sold annually to 184,000 vehicles in 2019, mainly due to the influence of backward enterprise planning, management, product problems and stagnation of new products. After Ford completed a new round of executives in China, it continued to launch new products, accelerated the localization and technology launch of new models, and finally ushered in a sales stop. But judging by the decline in recent years, Ford still has a long way to go to get to where it was a few years ago.

Changan Mazda sold 12614 vehicles in June, up 30.7% year-on-year, and accumulated sales in the first half of the year were 56041 vehicles, down 8.4% year-on-year. With the launch of the domestic CX-30, Chang 'an Mazda is also expected to stop falling this year.

In terms of independent brands, Chongqing Chang 'an sold 60,000 new cars in June, with a year-on-year growth of 9%; Hebei Chang' an sold 10372 cars in June, with a year-on-year growth of 54%; Hefei Chang 'an sold 21315 cars in June, with a year-on-year growth of 180%. Among Chang 'an series brands, CS75 series has become the main sales force.

Chang 'an Automobile also emphasized that due to the completion of equity change of Jiangling Holdings Co., Ltd. and Chang' an Peugeot Citroen Automobile Co., Ltd., the company's production and sales data no longer include the sales volume of Jiangling Holdings Co., Ltd. and Chang 'an Peugeot Citroen Automobile Co., Ltd.

From the perspective of Chang 'an Automobile's enterprise strategy, it abandons enterprises with poor sales volume and losses, and speeds up strategic layout and new product launch in existing enterprises. At present, sales volume returns to positive. However, from the performance aspect, Chang 'an Automobile is still facing pressure.

Chang 'an Automobile's 2019 annual report shows a net loss of 2.65 billion yuan for the whole year, mainly due to the decline in investment income from joint ventures. In the first quarter of this year, Chang 'an Automobile, after "slimming", turned losses into profits and achieved a net profit of 630 million yuan.

In addition, Chang 'an Automobile completed the replacement of "helm" in June this year. According to the official announcement, Zhang Baolin, former deputy general manager of China Armament Equipment Group and chairman of Chang 'an Automobile, no longer holds the post of director and chairman of the company due to job change, and does not hold office in the company; Chang' an Automobile held the second extraordinary shareholders 'meeting in Chongqing in 2020 to elect Zhu Huarong as chairman of the company.
