As the second model of Changan Lincoln, the price of domestic fliers is about 100000 yuan cheaper than imported models, and the core such as engine, gearbox and chassis layout has not shrunk, which has played a certain role in promoting the growth of Lincoln brand sales in China. However, the target models of domestic pilots are Audi Q7, Mercedes-Benz GLE and BMW X5, the competitive pressure is not small.

Lincoln brand has always been a niche luxury brand in the Chinese market, compared with Lexus, Cadillac and other brands. However, the impact of localization on the brand will be relatively large, and the premium will be seriously reduced. But in fact, Lincoln's current performance in the Chinese market may gain better market attention by exchanging price for volume.

As luxury brands of Ford, Lincoln and Ford are not optimistic about sales in China. At a time when Ford as a whole is struggling in China, the Ford brand and Lincoln brand are expected to accelerate their domestic production, which is expected to save sales performance, and Lincoln will also be an important promoter.

In 2020, Ford brand sales in China also took a turn for the better, with Changan Ford's sales rising 37 per cent to 22125 in June and 30 per cent to 97500 in the first half of the year. The decline stopped in June.
