According to the latest statistics of the Federation of passengers, the domestic narrow-sense passenger car market sold 1.661 million vehicles in June, which rebounded further from May. Among them, the luxury car market performed brightly, with retail sales rising 27% in June from a year earlier, with a market share reaching an all-time high of 14.9%. Cui Dongshu, the passenger association, said that the rise in sales in the luxury car market was mainly due to the demand for high-end swaps and the price drop brought about by the new promotional discounts on luxury cars.

According to the luxury car sales list released by the Carriage Association, there were more than 10,000 luxury cars sold in June, achieving year-on-year growth, with three first-tier luxury car brands of Mercedes-Benz and BMW Audi accounting for the main source of sales.

In the list of high-end car sales in June, the top five models with more than 10,000 sales are all from the BBA brand. Among them, sales of Audi A6L models have skyrocketed, rising 244.6 per cent to 17160 vehicles in June from a year earlier, far surpassing models such as Mercedes-Benz E-Class and Mercedes-Benz C-Class. Audi A6L model sales of more than 10,000 reasons are also very simple, due to the further expansion of the terminal discount range, consumers naturally can not escape the "law of true incense", sales surge is inevitable. In the first half of this year, Audi A6L sold 61.2 to 76427 vehicles compared with the same race last year, still topping the list.

Mercedes-Benz E-Class and Mercedes-Benz C-Class ranked second and third respectively, with sales of the two models neck and neck, with sales of 15738 and 15230 respectively in the month, up 38.5% and 22.7% from a year earlier. The BMW 5-Series is the only BMW model on the list, catching up with Mercedes-Benz C-Class sales, which sold 14972 vehicles that month, a difference of only 258 vehicles from the Mercedes-Benz C-Class, but an increase of-4.5%, with a tendency to widen the sales gap. Audi A4L model sales are also more than 10,000, before the Audi A4 starting price of less than 300000 yuan, the mid-term revamped Audi A4L price of 30.58-396800 yuan, in line with the flight federation's tabulation requirements, so there is no doubt on the list, but the sales situation is not optimistic. Audi A4 sales fell 29.4% to 10064, the largest decline in sales on the list.

Volvo S90 ranked sixth among second-tier luxury brands, with sales falling 19.0 per cent to 3035; Cadillac CT6 sales were 2153, up slightly from May but 4.8 per cent lower than the same period last year; Volkswagen Pfion assumed SAIC's image in the high-end sedan market, but its sluggish sales could not hide its awkward market position, with sales falling 14.6 per cent to 895 for the month, ranking eighth on the list.

In the luxury SUV sector, there are more than 10,000 sales of three models, namely, Mercedes-Benz GLCs, Audi Q5L and BMW X3. Among them, Mercedes-Benz GLC sales rose 45.3% to 16604 vehicles in June, ranking first in the luxury SUV list. Mercedes-Benz GLC also continued to take the lead in sales of 76888 vehicles from January to June, up 15.0% from a year earlier.

The Audi Q5L is the only one of the three models that saw a decline in sales, which fell 3.0 per cent to 13764 in the month and rose 11.5 per cent to 60484 in the first half. Before Mercedes-Benz GLCs and BMW X3 are domestically produced, Audi Q5L has always been a dominant company. With the domestic production of GLC and X3, the competitive pressure of Q5L is also increasing.

Brilliance BMW X3 has maintained solid sales since its launch, rising 13.9 per cent to 13067 in the month and falling 3.1 per cent to 56359 in the first half of the year.

In terms of other models, the Tuen, Cadillac XT5, Mercedes-Benz GLB and Volvo XC60 all sold more than 5000 vehicles, with year-on-year sales growth. Of this total, sales of Touen rose 13.9 per cent to 8027, Cadillac XT5 rose 5.5 per cent to 6087, and Mercedes-Benz GLBs sold 5731 vehicles in the month.

The three models with sales of less than 5000 are Cadillac XT6, Prado and Discovery Shenxing. Among them, Prado sales fell 38.3% to 2794 vehicles, Prado has been confirmed to stop production, sales decline is inevitable, and will be completely off the list in the future.

There were no new power brands on the list in June, but in the first half of the luxury SUV list, Lailai ES6 was the only car brand with more than 10,000 sales, with cumulative sales up 2735.6% to 11711 vehicles from January to June.

Judging from the sales performance of luxury models in June, BBA still accounts for half of the luxury car field, while second-tier luxury brands such as Cadillac and Volvo still lag far behind BBA. Overall, although the narrow passenger car market has declined, the performance of the luxury car market is still strong, and the competition in the luxury car market is fierce. Price for volume has become the main means to achieve sales growth, and the growth of luxury car market share is imperative.
