According to sales data released by Honda China, Dongfeng Honda sold 70776 vehicles in June, down 14.8% from a year earlier, and accumulated 296975 vehicles in the first half, down 18.6% from a year earlier. Dongfeng Honda has not yet achieved regular sales as the market continues to pick up. Among them, the Civic sold more than 20,000 units for two consecutive months in May and June. From the point of view of the product layout, the localization of the hatchback version plays an important role in the breakthrough of the overall sales of Civic cars.

However, the domestic version of the Civic hatchback version also caused some controversy. After all, the domestic hatchback car market is small, and the market heat continues to decline, while for the Civic hatchback version of the people, basically have faith in the TYPE R model.
