However, it was not long before the gearbox was replaced, and one day in June 2019, the gearbox failure reappeared. When Mr. Zhao drove the car to the 4S store again, he learned that the manufacturer had announced a recall of the Baojun 560 model in that month because of the gearbox failure. However, a month after the second gearbox replacement, the same problem recurred.

This time, the 4S store repaired the gearbox, but there was still a problem with the Baojun 560 gearbox after repair. there was an obvious abnormal noise in the gearbox and there was a thumping sound. Mr. Zhao once again made representations to 4S stores and manufacturers on the issue of gearbox, but the manufacturers thought there was no problem.

Henan Zhumadian Baojun 4S store manager said on the phone: what we can do is to report the incident to the manufacturer, if the manufacturer thinks there is no problem, there is nothing we can do. Mr. Zhao said: now the attitude of the 4S store is to repair the car unless it is in a nest or in an accident, or the car is normal.

In addition to Mr. Zhao, Mr. Yang from Zhongshan, Guangdong has also encountered the same problem. Less than four months after replacing the gearbox of the Baojun 560, which had been open for only one year, the car suddenly lost power on the highway. Mr. Yang's car was recalled by the manufacturer for repair, and five months later, the vehicle's newly replaced gearbox had problems again and faults occurred frequently. Mr. Yang went to the 4S store several times, the fault has not been effectively solved, the maintenance method is to forcibly eliminate the fault code so that the fault light is not on temporarily, this kind of maintenance method makes Mr. Yang very helpless.

With the emergence of the problem of Baojun 560 gearbox, more and more car owners report that they have encountered similar problems. In the face of the problem, the solution given by the 4S store is to replace the gearbox, while some cars that have changed the gearbox one or more times, the problem still exists.

Although car manufacturers recall Baojun 560, problems still occur frequently. Car owners believe that the recall is obviously perfunctory and does not completely solve the problems existing in the gearbox or eliminate the hidden dangers of vehicle safety. What worries car owners even more is that once the warranty period is out of date, the high maintenance cost of the gearbox will be borne by the car owners themselves.

Repairs can not be repaired, and once the three packages are exceeded, they will have to pay out of their own pocket, and if car owners choose to return their cars, a large amount of money will be deducted in accordance with the three-pack regulations and the Baojun 560 user manual. Mr. Jiang, the owner of the car in Tianjin, said: according to the three-package law, the manufacturer bought it for 143000 yuan at that time and refunded less than 60, 000 yuan, which is a little unacceptable to the common people. Why do ordinary people pay for the defects of the manufacturer?

The recall failed to solve the problem completely, and the car owner had to bear the high depreciation fee. In desperation, some car owners thought of directly communicating with the after-sales department of the manufacturer. In December 2019, a CCTV reporter followed the car owner to the Wuling Baojun factory, but could not find any department to receive consumers and handle complaints.

In addition, the Baojun 560, which has been on the market for only three years, was discontinued in March 2018. Now there is no way for car owners to complain, there is no hope of a complete solution to the problem, and owners do not know how long such a problem car can drive.

According to the car quality net data, the 2016 Baojun 560s received a total of 222complaints about transmissions. however, the faults of the transmission did not decrease with the increase in the number of complaints from car owners. The 2017 Baojun 560s received a total of 358 complaints about transmission failures. In the complaint cases of car owners, the transmission is abnormal, unable to accelerate, frustrated, unable to change gears, fault lights are on, and oil leakage has become the worst-hit area of the complaint.

Because of its high performance-to-price ratio and durability, SAIC GM Wuling products are highly sought after by consumers. however, hot sales do not mean that consumers can tolerate the quality problems of automobiles, especially those related to life and safety such as gearboxes.
