A few days ago, a plan for FAW Toyota to increase and improve its accelerated models was exposed. According to the plan, FAW Toyota will launch at least 10 new models, including cars, SUV, MPV and so on, of which SUV models are in the majority, subdividing various markets.

Specifically, SUV models include Hanlanda's "sister model", the new Harrier, the Corolla Cross, the new RAV4 PHEV and a pure electric SUV.

In fact, the news of the new Hanlanda model has never stopped. Since the overseas version was put on the market, there has been news of the realization of domestic production, but for the launch of the new model, it has been reported that it is expected to achieve domestic listing early next year. At the same time, the new generation of Hanlanda will have two domestic versions, in addition to the familiar Guangzhou Auto Toyota Hanlanda (internal code 760B), FAW Toyota will also introduce this model, which is internally codenamed 770B. At present, the new generation of Hanlanda patent map has also been officially announced, and the overall appearance is almost synchronized with the overseas version of Halanda.

The new Toyota Harrier may be unfamiliar because the model is not listed in China, but it went on sale in Japan a long time ago, and it was actually the Toyota version of the Lexus RX, differentiating it from the former. As Toyota continues to improve its performance in China, Toyota has introduced it to improve its competitiveness in China.

According to previously exposed documents, FAW Toyota Harrier models will be directly built using the existing RAV4 Rongfang production line without changing production capacity, with a planned production capacity of 60000 vehicles. The new car is positioned as an entry-level five-seat medium-sized SUV.

Similarly, there is more information about the MPV model sienna, which is introduced by FAW Toyota for the first time. According to the FAW-Toyota supplier, it has been awarded a project to manufacture the bumper and plastic tail door of the MPV model codenamed 01roomD, which is FAW-Toyota's first MPV model sienna.
