Mr. Ma's Nissan Qijun was bought in December 2017. some time ago, the car suddenly had an oil leak in its gearbox. The car was sent to the 4S store for testing and repair, but it was not guaranteed by the 4S store for "human reasons".

According to Mr. Ma, after starting the car on July 5 and walking about 10 meters forward, the car stalled, couldn't speed up by stepping on the accelerator pedal, and the dashboard showed a fault alarm. Mr. Ma immediately got out of the car to check and found that there was an oil leak at the bottom of the car, and it was dripping along, and a pool of oil stains had been left in the original position where the car was picked up.

Mr. Ma immediately contacted the 4S store, and then the Qijun was dragged to the 4S store for inspection. After inspection by the 4S store, the reason for the oil leakage in the gearbox is "corrosion on the outside of the gearbox leading to the rupture of the oil pipe". Mr. Ma believes that the product itself has quality problems, and the car is still under a three-year warranty of 100000 kilometers, so the 4S store should give a warranty. However, the 4S store said that "the oil leakage in the gearbox is due to corrosion caused by external factors and will not be repaired free of charge." In addition, the 4S store also proposed to sign a contract that there will be no joint liability for future gearbox problems and this maintenance, in short, "this time the problem has been fixed, the next time there is the same problem, do not come back."

Judging from the photos provided by Mr. Ma, there has been a large area of rust on the tubing around the gearbox, but the question is, the gearbox is an internal part of the car, how can it be corroded by external factors? And Mr. Ma's maintenance is carried out in the 4S store, what are the "external reasons" that lead to gearbox corrosion?

Mr. Ma was not satisfied with the way the 4S store was handled, so he fed back the problem to the manufacturer and called 400 customer service. However, calling 400 customer service calls did not solve the problem. Mr. Ma made 18 calls on the first day and more than 10 calls on the second and third day, but the customer staff's reply has always been "We will feedback the problem, please wait for the result." according to Mr. Ma, the customer service staff behaves like a "robot".

Later, Mr. Ma found the local consumer association, and finally the 4S store read a text message to the consumer association saying that the reply from the manufacturer was based on the judgment of the 4S store, and the result was that the 200 yuan man-hour fee that should have been charged was exempted, but the money for replacing parts was still a lot, and Mr. Ma could only pay obediently.

From Baidu and car quality online inquiry, we can see that there are many related incidents about "Qijun gearbox oil leakage", so in the end, 4S store said that "external causes lead to gearbox oil leakage" or a common fault. I believe you all have the answer in mind.

The oil leak in the gearbox during the warranty period is supposed to be repaired, but the 4S store refuses the free warranty for "external reasons", and there is no written proof, it all depends on the words of the 4S store. so not all problems can be rejected for "external reasons", so who dares to buy Dongfeng Nissan in the future?

The manufacturer also has problems, but the car owner calls the manufacturer's 400 customer service phone, but there is no substantive solution. "We will feedback the problem, please wait for the result" has become a common means of evasion, so what is the use of such a special line?

Mr. Ma said that buying a car at that time attached great importance to Nissan's quality and service reputation, which now seems to be a misunderstanding. At present, Mr. Ma's biggest worry is that although the oil leak in the gearbox has been repaired, once the problem occurs again, the 4S store will still refuse the warranty for "external reasons", and the cost of follow-up maintenance is a problem.
