Toyota Hanlanda has maintained the "dominant" position of the joint venture medium-sized SUV in the market since it was made in China in 2009, although the new models have already been released and listed overseas, and the old models continue to sell well in the domestic market that has not been introduced. At the same time, Guangzhou Auto Toyota brought a "million commemorative version" of the model to celebrate Toyota's upcoming sales of more than one million.

According to GAC Toyota's plan, the new million commemorative version of Toyota Hanlanda is expected to be sold in stores as soon as September this year. The overall configuration is slightly higher than the current 2.0T all-wheel drive version (top), but covers a lot of exclusive configurations.

In part of the configuration, it includes adding a million theme LOGO to the 2.0T four-wheel drive version, adding brown elements to seats, door handrails, wood grain trim, million theme luminous door rail pedals, million theme advanced carpets and intelligent online multimedia navigation system.

Obviously, for the "million commemorative version" launched by GAC Toyota Hanlanda, it is only a model that maintains its appearance and basic configuration, which is not much different from the current model as a whole, but a "commemorative version" featured in individual details. As a result, many netizens complained: the last wave of leek harvest!

Because according to previous information, Toyota Hanlanda will be replaced next year, and the million commemorative version may be the last new version before the replacement.

The current Toyota Hanlanda, as the second-generation model introduced by Guangzhou Automobile Toyota, was put on the market in 2015. Although the cash model has been on the market for five years and is facing replacement, its popularity in the domestic medium-sized SUV market continues unabated. Under the environment of mutual price reduction competition for the other seven SUV joint ventures, Hanlanda is still sold in the Chinese market by virtue of Toyota's reputation, big space and product stability.

In a long period of time, Hanlanda also reported that due to capacity bottlenecks, resulting in market supply falling short of demand, further encourage dealers to increase prices and sales. Because of its popularity, the news of the 2020 replacement Hanlanda is more interesting.

However, for the third-generation Hanlanda, which is based on Toyota's TNGA-K platform, it is only in the period of patent map exposure, and the exact launch date of the new model next year still needs to be announced.

According to the latest data released by GAC Toyota, sales reached 74270 units in June, an increase of 44 per cent over the same period last year, setting a record for the second consecutive month. Cumulative sales in the first half of the year were 323616, up 6 per cent from the same period last year. Among them, Hanlanda sold 8775 units in June and 39109 units in the first half of the year, continuing to lead the large and medium-sized SUV market. Since the domestic listing in 2009, the cumulative sales have exceeded 980000 vehicles.
