During this period, the independent car company Great Wall will release a number of new cars, including the Harvard Dog, the new Harvard H6, the Ola good Cat, the WEY Tank 300 and so on.

The Haver Dog is the first model to be named after an animal under the Great Wall, which is used to create a zoo car system. From the perspective of the new car, the Haver Dog adopts a new design language, the overall line is straight and square, and its shield type front grille, with the rugged chrome trim inside, and the silver anti-friction plate under the bumper, at the same time, the headlamp group also uses the inner circular design, you can see that the front of the car is very wild.

The Harvard Dog has a compact side and a high ground clearance, indicating that its positioning will be skewed to outdoor road conditions. The length, width and height of the new car are 4620C1890 (1910) / 1780mm respectively, and the wheelbase is 2738mm.

The interior of the Harvard Dog is also different from other Harvard models, with a new instrument shape, a large-size central LCD screen and a similar return air conditioning outlet.

Built on the Great Wall lemon platform, Haverdog launched a 1.5T engine with a maximum power of 169hp (124kW), matched with a 7DCT gearbox. In the future, the car will also have a 2.0T engine version and provide a four-wheel drive system.

The second model to be released is the new Harvard H6, which uses a large hexagonal middle mesh, the interior is filled with a mesh design, and offers a variety of medium mesh styles among the options, including a multi-banner horizontal chrome grille. The through taillight at the rear of the vehicle is the biggest feature that distinguishes the car from the cash H6.

In terms of size, the length, width and height of the new car are 4653/1886/1730mm, the wheelbase is 2738mm, and the wheelbase is increased by 58mm compared with the current model. The interior of the new Harvard H6 features a minimalist style, with a new all-liquid crystal meter and a 12.3-inch central LCD screen.

The new Harvard H6 will be equipped with a 1.5T turbocharged engine model GW4B15A and a 2.0T turbocharged engine of the 4C20 series, with maximum power of 169hp and 224hp, respectively, and peak torque of 285Nm and 385Nm, meeting the sixth national emission standard. In terms of transmission system, it is matched by a seven-gear wet double clutch gearbox.

Great Wall's other blockbuster new car, the WEY Tank 300, is based on the "Tank WEY" off-road platform and is positioned as a compact SUV that focuses on off-road. It will feature a new non-load-bearing body design and will be unveiled at the Chengdu auto show.

The WEY Tank 300 is designed in a tough cross-country style, with a circular retro LED headlamp group and a three-spoke front grid with high recognition. From the side, the design of the square box body is very similar to that of many hard-line off-road SUV. At present, the power information of the car has not yet been released.

The fourth model is Euler good Cat. Previously, Euler R1 has been renamed Black Cat and Euler R2 has been renamed White Cat. Euler good cat maintains the cute style of Euler series models, using a large number of arc curves as a whole to create nostalgic and retro visual effects. The length, width and height of the car are 4235/1825/1596mm, and the wheelbase is 2650mm.

The Euler Cat is equipped with a TZ153XS000 drive motor made by United Automotive Electronics Co., Ltd., which has a maximum power of 143hp and a ternary lithium-ion battery pack produced by Honeycomb Energy Technology Co., Ltd.

Figures show that Great Wall sold 395097 vehicles in the first half of this year, down 19.95 percent from the same period last year and reaching 38.7 percent of the annual target. Among them, sales of the Harvard brand fell 25.69% to 262216 vehicles in the first half of the year, the WEY brand fell 43.18% to 26639 vehicles, and the Eula brand fell 65.07% to 9436 vehicles.

A number of new cars under the Great Wall brands have been launched centrally, and the naming of new cars has also broken with tradition, or further increase the online exposure of Great Wall models. However, for consumers, product competitiveness is the core point. It remains to be seen whether Great Wall can meet its sales target in the second half of the year.
