AutoBeta(AutoBeta.net)07/24 Report--
The China Automotive Health Index Management Center (C-AHI) released the results of the first batch of models in 2020 on July 23. It is understood that the evaluation results of a total of five models were released, including four joint venture models and one independent model, the joint venture models are Dongfeng Nissan 2019 2.0L XL comfort Edition), SAIC General Motors Buick Regal (2019 GS 28T premium VI), FAW-Volkswagen Audi Q5L (2020 40 TFSI enterprising model) and FAW Toyota RAV4 (2020 2.0L CVT two-wheel drive fashion version). The autonomous model is the Great Wall WEY VV6 (2021 2.0T two-wheel drive plus).
The evaluation items of automobile health index in China mainly include VOC (volatile organic compounds) & VOI (interior odor intensity) and EMR (electromagnetic radiation). Specifically, in the VOC (volatile organic compounds) & VOI (interior odor intensity) section, WEY VV6 and Audi Q5L both scored 92, the highest score of the five models. At the bottom of the list is Toyota Rongfang RAV4, which lost points mainly in the VOC (volatile organic compounds in the car) section, with a score of 64.5 out of 70, the lowest score of the five models, which means that the RAV4 may contain more harmful substances such as formaldehyde than other models. In addition, the score of RAV4 on the VOI (odor intensity in the car) is not high, with only 24 out of 30, which means that there is also an obvious smell in the car.
In the EMR (electromagnetic radiation) sector, the WEY VV6 remains the highest-scoring model, with a score of 97.5 out of 100, followed by the Buick Regal with a score of 96.25. It is understood that the models tested by WEY VV6 and Buick Regal are the highest configuration models of the car system, from the test results, the impact of rich configuration on the size of electromagnetic radiation is still limited. It is worth mentioning that Audi Q5L scored the lowest in the EMR (electromagnetic radiation) plate, with only 80.5 points.
Judging from the final results, WEY VV6 and Buick Regal scored well in VOC (volatile organic compounds) & VOI (odor intensity) and EMR (electromagnetic radiation). Although WEY VV6, as the only independent brand, won the first place with a score of 97.5, the score of VOI (odor intensity) was the lowest among the five models and needed to be further improved. As the only first-tier luxury brand, Audi Q5L's overall performance was "mixed", scoring 5 stars in VOC (volatile organic compounds) & VOI (odor intensity), but only 4 stars in EMR (vehicle electromagnetic radiation) The two Japanese models Nissan Teana and Toyota RAV4 are also relatively mediocre, with 5 stars in EMR (vehicle electromagnetic radiation) and only 4 stars in VOC (volatile organic compounds) & VOI (odor intensity).
It is understood that the China Automobile Health Index (C-AHI) is initiated by the China Automotive Engineering Research Institute Co., Ltd. under the guidance of the International Association of Traffic Medicine, integrating the research resources of the automotive industry, the medical industry, and the communications industry. It can be said that it is a relatively authoritative vehicle environment evaluation institution in China at present. C-AHI has five evaluation plates, namely, vehicle volatile organic compounds (VOC), vehicle odor intensity (VOI), vehicle electromagnetic radiation (EMR), vehicle particulate matter (PM) and vehicle allergen VAR.
In recent years, with the rapid development of the automobile industry, cars have increasingly become one of the necessary tools for consumers and a part of people's lives. With the improvement of consumers' quality of life, environmental protection awareness and health awareness are also increasing, especially after the "poisonous car", "haze explosion", "electromagnetic radiation" panic and other events, choosing a healthy car is also a very important thing for the public, and consumers' attention to cars is no longer limited to performance, handling, safety and energy consumption. A healthy environment in the car has also become a major standard for buying a car.
