Toyota plans to launch a number of new cars this year, and Toyota will also be in the spotlight at the upcoming Shanghai auto show. In addition to the already announced new-generation Leiling / Carola debut, Toyota plans to display six new cars. Including the new generation of Toyota RAV4 Rongfang, Vellfire HEV (Wilfa dual engine), Elfa HEV dual engine, Guangzhou Automobile Toyota C-HR EV, FAW Toyota Yize IZOA EV, and an EV concept car-RHOMBUS.

FAW Toyota's new RAV4 Rongfang is expected to be consistent with the overseas version, with reference to the overseas version of the model, the new RAV4 is based on TNGA architecture, with two design styles, a more hardline appearance and a great change in interior layout. The power side uses a 2.5L naturally aspirated engine and a 2.5L engine + motor hybrid system, the pure fuel version matches the 8-speed automatic transmission, and the hybrid uses the E-CVT gearbox.

The new RAV4 Rongfang is scheduled to launch in the fourth quarter of this year, and Guangzhou Auto Toyota will launch a new car of the same origin as the RAV4 by 2020.

The Vellfire HEV, the brother of Elfa, was introduced and sold by FAW Toyota from June to July this year, while the latter has been sold by Guangzhou Auto Toyota. It has always been a crazy price increase, and it will then become Toyota's strongest "price increase magic car" partner in China.

The appearance and style of Wilfa and Elfa are slightly different, and the rest are basically the same. The dual-engine version is equipped with 2.5L engine + motor hybrid system, maximum comprehensive power 211Ps, maximum torque 409N ·m, matching E-CVT gearbox, and all models are equipped with E-Four electronic control four-wheel drive, which meets the national Liub emission standard.

Toyota A-Class sedan based on TNGA architecture, the new generation of Corolla plans to launch in August-September, while Lei Ling will go on sale earlier and officially launch on May 20. As for power, it will still be equipped with 1.2T engine and 1.8L hybrid system according to the declared information.

Toyota launched more than 10 new products in China this year and set a sales target of 1.6 million vehicles, a slight increase of 8 per cent from the sales figure of 1.4745 million in 2018. In March, Toyota sold 120900 vehicles in China, up 1.1% from a year earlier. Cumulative sales in the first quarter reached 347900, up 8.1% from a year earlier, temporarily leading Nissan by a narrow margin of more than 4000 vehicles.
