Or capital bosses can do it, while other enterprises that rely on state subsidies cannot survive. In other words, the future development of new energy vehicles should not rely on government subsidies, enterprises should also have their own vitality, if each enterprise operating a product, completely rely on state subsidies to make money, it is waiting to die.

Cao Dewang believes that most enterprises choose the new energy vehicle industry because of government subsidies. Although the state has been making great efforts to develop the new energy vehicle industry, it is very difficult for enterprises to do so, because Chinese consumers are more conservative. They are more inclined to buy more mature fuel vehicles, and the domestic gas stations are dense, providing a lot of convenience for vehicles to refuel. Compared with fuel vehicles, new energy vehicles have to face more difficulties, such as mileage, charging problems, value preservation rate and so on.

Cao Dewang said that enterprises should rely on their own development to make themselves strong, let consumers accept new energy vehicles, let consumers think that new energy vehicles are better than fuel vehicles, in order to better promote new energy vehicles. Enterprises' efforts to develop industries and government subsidies should complement each other, rather than blindly taking advantage of the loopholes of national policies to make money.

Sales of new energy vehicles fell 32.8 per cent to 486000 from January to July, with sales of new energy vehicles rising 19.3 per cent to 98000 in July, the first increase so far this year, according to the China Automobile Association.

Cao Dewang also has a point. Since the decline of new energy subsidies in June last year, China's new energy vehicle sales have declined for 12 consecutive months and did not resume growth until July this year.
