As a result, the March model complaint list released by the website does not include complaints that car owners voluntarily apply for withdrawal because the manufacturer has handled the complaint properly.

In terms of brands, independent brands account for 43% of complaints, and joint venture brands account for 56%. Among them, Sino-American cars of joint venture brands have the largest number of complaints, accounting for 18%. The rest are 11% of Japanese, 10% of German, 9% of French, 6% of Korean and so on.

The problems complained by car owners are mainly focused on "quality problems", accounting for 83% of the total number of complaints.

List of the top 30 complaints about car models

Two French cars are the worst.

Dongfeng Peugeot 408 has become the champion of complaints recently, with 160 complaints in February and 384 in March, with a small brand and small sales. what is the problem with such a large number of complaints? The typical problems complained about by the majority of car owners are: tire cracking, abnormal noise of shock absorber, blockage of oil pump and so on.

Another French car, Dongfeng Citroen C4L, ranked fifth with 80 complaints that month. The main problems focused on engine problems, including engine oil burning, abnormal noise, oil leakage, abnormal timing chain noise, and so on.

With the gradual decline of brands in China, the sales of Peugeot and Citroen have declined more seriously. DPCA's own problems are the main reason for the deterioration of the brand, but what can not be ignored are user word-of-mouth and quality problems. and the relationship with dealers and many other problems.

10 Volkswagen cars are on the list.

Among the top 30 complaints, Volkswagen Group brands have 10 models on the list, including Volkswagen brands, Skoda and Audi, mainly related to the outbreak of the "poison valve" incident on the eve of March 15.

In early March, an article entitled "they all bought Audi cars and they all got leukemia" spread all over the Internet, and the problem of Audi car smell once again became the focus of public opinion. As early as the middle of 2017, Volkswagen Group admitted that some domestic vehicles may have the problem of internal odor caused by sound insulation materials, and replaced the sound insulation materials for these domestic vehicles free of charge. It involves Audi A4L, Q5, A3, Volkswagen Maiteng, CC, Golf and Skoda Minui models.

According to the complaint information, some users have not been notified to replace the sound insulation material, while some users still have the problem of odor after replacing the new sound insulation material.

The 10 models on the list in March are Audi A4L (83), Lang Yi (81), Suiteng (66), Bora (52), Maiteng (49), Mingrui (45), Audi Q5 (43), Lingdu (41), Golf (40) and Hao Rui (39).

In addition, the problem of abnormal noise and frustration of Volkswagen double clutch transmission is also more prominent.

Complaints from other brands

The problems of American cars are mainly focused on Yinglang (steering stagnation, engine jitter), Kay Yue (instrument table cracking, engine oil leakage), Fox (attack fault light on, gearbox noise), Mondeo (engine oil leakage, car smell) and so on.

The number of Japanese car problems has increased, and the ranking of complaints has risen. For example, Dongfeng Nissan Xuanyi car owner complaints suddenly soared to No. 8 in March, the typical problem is still gearbox bumps, Nissan Qijun also has the same problem.

Toyota Corolla and Honda CR-V ranked less than 20 in the list of complaints, among which Carola's typical problems were abnormal engine noise, oil leakage, unstable idling and transmission setbacks, while CR-V still had complaints about increased oil.
